Mr. Johnson Snr.

Just admit the policies you worship are led by a class of people who don't give one moment's thought about you or your kind, and quite honestly don't even understand you or the life you lead.
They do however know "get behind britain" is a slogan you'll fall for every time, because they learnt about it in politics class at Eton. They also know any bad side effects, such as losing freedom of movement, can be manoeuvred around by money and influence making sure only people like you and not people like them pay the price.

No wonder you don't want people to discuss the topic.
First of all your talking shite about worshiping policies, and secondly like the rest of the hysterical left on here you have ignored my point.

And ? In other news my mum like Brussel sprouts and I donā€™t.

Conforming to type then, that's nice.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall while you work out where you stand on Dutch auctions, Spanish practices and French leave. And what about Jerusalem artichokes? In Eurovision, but not in the EU..... that's got to be difficult.

This reads like that thread where Michael Gove's wife was given abuse for being his wife, rather than for being a journalist.

Honestly, it's as though if you happen to anybody in the public eye, your own your family and whatever they do has to be in agreement with you.

The hypocrisy of criticizing somebody for exercising their freedoms you are complaining about losing is staggering.

What any individually chooses to do, within the law has nothing at all to do with anybody else within their family.

Good luck to the old fella of it suits him and it's great to see father and son can remain close despite disagreeing with each other about our place in the EU.

They remain close because Stanley is only doing what his son would have done in any other circumstances

Why are you always offended on someone's behalf and why is it always a Tory you are offended for?

I'm not offended, I just think it's hypocritical to link members of family to each other when, in this case, he has absolutely no role in government.

It would be the same if somebody said Keir's sister voted leave.

It's the shackling of individuals, with a free choice, to one another that annoys me.

How I vote/behave has nothing to do with any of my siblings, nor my wife or my kids.

My choice of profession is nothing to do with them either. They are my choices.

I'd be royally pissed off, if my wife took grief for a decision I made at work, or was used to try and make a cheap political point.

That's all.

Nothing unreasonable in that position.

So you thing that the press should not be allowed to report on family ties, how naive.
He is a former MEP and employee of the European commission, of course and he does not try to hide the fact he is pro Europe.
Don't be so sensitive it's impossible for everyone to have the same political views as you. Just accept it, Stan does.

I'm not sure of your point.

What Johnson Sr does in his best interests is up to him and doesn't have anything to undermine the credibility of Johnson Jr doing what he was elected to do.

The two things are mutually exclusive.
