She really has not done her cause any good by her refusal to make a formal complaint . Her allegations are so serious, surely it is in everybodys interest including her own that this was investigated at the earliest opportunity. Sounds as if it is going to get very heated, the accused claiming it was both untrue and defamatory.

Looks like Boris played this by the book and followed the prescribed protocols. The exaggerated and cynical attempts to pin everything on Johnson could well backfire when people realise it's just media bullying.

This really is an extended “good day to bury bad news” situation. They are getting all those skeletons out of the closet nice and early.

As soon as they’ve got as many out as they are aware of or can drag out of people they will then let Boris go.
He can be the brunt of all that is wrong lovely purge, then New Tory can relaunch in whatever guise they’ve got planned.

That is why she didn't make the complaint. They insisted the complaint be through the Tory Party, it was a Government / Cabinet Office issue.

Talk about victim blaming attack dog response. Here's an idea, let's see what a proper investigation turns up, lets see how many people corroborate what she says, lets see who else comes forward. The report into the Tory Party was mentioned again, apparently poor treatment of specifically Muslims was mentioned in it.
