Any donations would be very welcome. This little princess is my daughters god daughter only 9 months old and needs open heart surgery to save her life
We are looking to raise money for Alder Hey children’s hospital and Ronald McDonald charity house.
Most of you will know that our beautiful daughter Isabelle is awaiting life changing heart surgery and without these amazing charities it would not be possible.
Isabelles surgery has been cancelled twice in the last month or so due to her being unwell but is rescheduled for the 7th April. This has had a real impact on both mine and Hans mental health with all the build up and seeing your baby daughter so distressed and your unable to do anything to help her.
I am going to run every day for 45 minutes and donate £1 for every mile I run up until 5th April as our stay in Liverpool starts on the 6th.
This may not seem a lot to some but it will be a huge struggle for me as I haven’t ran or even exercised for well over 3 years. I am taking on this challenge to not only raise money for these amazing charities but to help me focus and improve my mental health.
I fully appreciate that money is really tight and people may have donated to other charities recently but it would be amazing if you could support these wonderful charities with what ever you can even if it’s just sharing this post so it can reach as many people as possible.

Michelle, just donated.
My oldest Grandson, now 38, was born with a defective heart. He was in Alder Hay for a time
My daughter & family moved south when he was 3/4? Eventually he went into Harefield Hospital there.
He was operated on at 5/6 by Surgeon Sir Magdi Yacoub, one of the best in the business.
Successful Op. he now has a son(12).
Sir Magdi Yacoub has probably retired, he is 3 months younger than I.
P.S.
He had a ride in Concord later, which was for 'Children of Courage'.
His verdict, when asked about it on TV after wards, was, 'It were a bit bumpy'.😀

UPDATE
In just 1 day for both charities a total of £1704 has been gifted by the generosity of pool fans and Isabelle’s family and friends. This go fu d me closes on the 7th April which is the day this beautiful 9 month old baby has her life saving operation.
Any amount no matter how big or small will go such a long way
I’m also collecting in a charity bucket at the hotel for baby Isabelle for when she’s recovered from her operation maybe after all the pain and stress this young family have been through and are going through I will have raised enough to give them a little holiday somewhere

Sorry, Michelle. I have issues with ‘go fund’: why should they cream 12.5% on donations?
