I thought that was one of the most entertaining games Ive seen at bloomers for many aday against a far from Shabby Bristol City who played some very decent football at times.
Getting to individual performanes...Marv was the pick of the defence..Gabrial looks shaky still in defence and Thompson also but he didnt get much help on that left hand side...Williams was not upto the pace and was definately our weakest link with Marv covering for him on a few occassions. I thought Grimmy was poor today.
Dougall and Connolly worked hard but both lacked composure on the ball when often they had more time on the ball than they perhaps thought which led to stray passes.
Bowler was his usual self , often breathtaking
but did seem to disappear for the last 20 mins.
Jerry looks like hes getting back to the Jerry we all loved before his goal drought, Madine linked up well and caused problems before he was beaten by there 2 centre halfs.
Lavery, You have got to love him for his workrate, goes down far too easily and needs to up his end product.
Thorniley showed some great set piece presence and Theo is growing in confidence and statue and could be another great loan signing for us.

All in all, a draw was a fair result, not the result we wanted, but by god the fans have been thoroughly entertained these last 2 matches.

I agree with some bits and less so with others.
Disagree
Grimmy first. He made a mistake but nobody's prefect so not poor but not MOM.
Jordan Gabriel buried his Dad yesterday so top marks to Jordan for even being on the pitch. I bet your Dad was proud of you. 👍 👍 👍
Jordan and Dom are very similar in lots of ways. Bags of energy, entertaining but reckless at times, will always have you on your feet, loving or cursing.
Other bits 👍.

I wasn’t aware about Jordan, that’s worthy of a thread. Love the lad.

Of course Grimshaw was poor. He's a keeper and a good one at that. He knows that he should have done a lot better for two of their three goals. Don't let them in and we win. Football is a cruel game. Grimshaw was below his high standard, that's the reality. He was poor today.

It's an opinion not a fact.
You frequently have difficulty in distinguishing between the two. 😉

Not me that's mentioned the word fact is it? But when you let two goals in where you could have done so much better then I'd say it's poor. And expecting Grimshaw to have high standards I think he'll know that today wasn't up to his usual standard. He was poor.

Slating Grimshaw, hilarious.

Get the glasses on son.

Must admit that it's great to score three goals.
However, not so good to concede 3 at the same time.
A terrific game with both sides playing attractive attacking football.
Best game I've seen for ages.

Grimshaw was poor yesterday by his own high standards...he is clearly number one though and Maxwell and Apples have fallen out big time...think Maxi will be gone this week IF he can find a club...Villa was rumoured but he would likely be a number 3 keeper there and he would rather be playing

Watching their freekick goal on TV (several times), I concluded that our 1 man wall didn't help Grimmy at all (is it up to him to ask for more in the wall or were we more concerned in defending a cross?), as it obstructed his view & invited their kicker to take a free shot (which swerved all over the place).
Being a keeper is the worst & best position - hero or zero. Grimmy is one of the best in the Championship & can be excused when he's not 9/10.

I honestly don't think he did, you referring to the third goal? He did his best and it came off Marv.

I thought he was class.
I thought he could he could of done better with their second, and their 3rd should of been easily dealt with, im not slating him in any way, i think hes a superb keeper, just a bad day at the office

Do you sit behind the goal? I thought he saw it quite late and did really well.

Truthfully I can't remember the 2nd now.

I don't think we were bad defensively, should have just buried our chances and killed them off.
