It says to me NC may have been in the pipeline longer than most thought and possibly has had some input.Interesting that he says it's been going on for some weeks, which presumably means pre-Critchley, post Mansford and Pre Downes.
So who had the input I wonder?
5 in 45 last season. 1 in 9.Welcome and good luck.
He averages a goal every 24 games in midfield
That was my thinking too. possible we went in for him in January, but they wouldn't release him.It says to me NC may have been in the pipeline longer than most thought and possibly has had some input.
It's very watertight our club and I dont think there is anyone ITK.
I said league games Voy.5 in 45 last season. 1 in 9.
OK 3 in 35 last season. 1 in 11.67I said league games Voy.
5 goals in 114 apps.
Edit - 21 of those apps were in the Championship where he scored zilch.
Didn't realise he'd played in the Championship! Bonus. Pretty experienced for his age, and I would think time to develop and improve further. Ideal for usI said league games Voy.

Do you think transfer fee income goes into a pot marked 'for transfer fees only'?I see it's a free transfer. Is Sadler going to spend any of the money from Quitch's departure or the sale of Bowler ?
We spent a fair chunk on Wright from Leicester that did not go too well did it?I see it's a free transfer. Is Sadler going to spend any of the money from Quitch's departure or the sale of Bowler ?
If we can sign good players on free transfers, why would we spend unnecessarily on transfer fees?I see it's a free transfer. Is Sadler going to spend any of the money from Quitch's departure or the sale of Bowler ?
YesDo you think transfer fee income goes into a pot marked 'for transfer fees only'?
How many Charlton fans have you spoken to?Charlton fans see him moe as a lower league 1/League 2 player and surprised a "Club of our stature" has gone in for him.
Yep doesn’t sound too good reading their comments. Just got to hope a new club will make him kick on.Charlton fans see him moe as a lower league 1/League 2 player and surprised a "Club of our stature" has gone in for him.
The internet is a wonderful thingHow many Charlton fans have you spoken to?
It is.The internet is a wonderful thing
It clearly doesn't at Blackpool.Do you think transfer fee income goes into a pot marked 'for transfer fees only'?
Don’t think anyone has said he’s shite. Here we go, we've signed a player so he must be shite
It is.
"I think Morgan will get a decent midtable L1 club, I think people here slightly undervalue him.
Yes. Because the cost of operating at the level we do is greater than the regular income. It clearly doesn't at Blackpool.
The internet told universally us that Stephen Crainey was a total disaster. The internet is shit. It even allows you a voice. Imagine people quoting your opinions.Decent midtable League One team… brilliant!
There are plenty on their message boards saying they are surprised and wish we'd taken Kirk as part of the deal too. Sounds like a squad player and they think we would be signing better. Only saying what they are saying. Let's see if a move is good for him and us.How many Charlton fans have you spoken to?
That moneys been swallowed up by rampant inflation . The club isn’t immune to such matters.I see it's a free transfer. Is Sadler going to spend any of the money from Quitch's departure or the sale of Bowler ?
Well you’ve picked out a positive comment amongst the general consensus that he won’t be missed by their fans so that certainly gives me hope. Hopefully the next Kenny Dougall. The internet told universally us that Stephen Crainey was a total disaster. The internet is shit. It even allows you a voice. Imagine people quoting your opinions.

"He could be the next modric or more likely Barry bannan. Good luck Albie. Best to get away from this toxic club and it's fans.
"Good pitch and a big pitch really suits him as he’s got the passing range and the energy to get around it.
"Last season I think he got 10 assists (the most) this season he got 7 assists, (2nd) now unless we are going to sign KDB, the person filling his boots will have to easily get more assists, otherwise what was the point of letting him go? It will be interesting to see who we sign as his replacement, and whether they do get more assists, or whether he is even replaced, a La Washington, otherwise in 6 - 12 months time people will be slagging off the club, and questioning why we let him go. All the best for the future Albie, you always put in a shift for the club, you’re still young and can only improve with time.
"I wish him well and excited that we are going to improve on Albie because all the Matt Smith's, Kilkenny, McGrandles, Gilbey, etc, etc haven't been. So I look forward to a top 6 midfielder we are going to bring in. We live in hope but I won't hold my breath.
"Sorry to see him go myself. I'm not convinced we'll bring in anyone better and I can see Albie being a curse when he plays against us in the
"Agreed.....Think he will thrive in a better team than us....two good feet and if he has a quick forward to hit can see him doing well future.
Loads of positive comments on their forums. A clear sense that he needs a fresh start and will do well in a side that is set up right. It's interesting to me that the people on here who are always negative choose to pick out negative comments on the internet and choose to ignore the positive stuff. A clear indication that they are stuck in one miserable line of thought, looking for things to confirm their misery. I'm struggling to remember anything positive ever coming from you. You are either not a blackpool fan or you should pack it in.Well you’ve picked out a positive comment amongst the general consensus that he won’t be missed by their fans so that certainly gives me hope. Hopefully the next Kenny Dougall.
Having watched him 25+ times over the last two seasons - I can't imagine these are the opinions of the majority of Charlton fans. Hopefully nothing more than a squad player for us.The internet told universally us that Stephen Crainey was a total disaster. The internet is shit. It even allows you a voice. Imagine people quoting your opinions.

"I think this could be the making of Albie. He’s been at The Valley since he was nine I think and it must have all become very comfortable and familiar for him. I’m sure he’s putting in maximum effort but mentally perhaps it’s just a bit cosy. A new challenge with a point to prove could be just what he needs for him to kick on and bring out the obviously good player in there.
"An error to let him leave. Should have built the team around him. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in a Championship team. With the right manager he will have a very successful career.
mmmm... you remember Crainey being slaughtered by Rangers fans? Is that because he was a Celtic player? I think you mean Leeds fans.I’ve never heard of him and if you dismiss a handful of comments from charlton fans as he wouldn’t have had 150 league 1 n champ games if he wasn’t good enough. Plus remember Stephen crainey was slaughtered by rangers fans and came here I think free and was brilliant for us. You simply have to see the guy play a few games before judging surely. Fingers crossed he could be a great signing.
So he's come here for four years unpaid?I see it's a free transfer. Is Sadler going to spend any of the money from Quitch's departure or the sale of Bowler ?
A club of our stature, not little Blackpool thenCharlton fans see him moe as a lower league 1/League 2 player and surprised a "Club of our stature" has gone in for him.
