Another random one from under the radar. Striker? Winger?
If he's replacing Feeney or even Ward then it makes sense.Maybe West Ham agreed to loan him for nowt to get him some experience and some time with Critchley? Doesn't feel like a player we really needed.
Rather Feeney go than Ward. Ward has had a decent pre season and seems to be fully fit now!If he's replacing Feeney or even Ward then it makes sense.
Me too, but with the way things are going I honestly don't think anyone is safe who was here last season.Rather Feeney go than Ward. Ward has had a decent pre season and seems to be fully fit now!
Maxwell Husband & Thorniley all have Championship experience. So does Madine & Feeney if they stick around.wish we sign couple of experiene players who know this league , or have championship experience
worrying to many youngsters
who is the leader on the pitch , spearing would of been ideal to lead on the pitch
just my opinion thou
Fred Kemp was never in Spandau.Kemp.....it's True, let's hope he's Gold.
Crap attempt at Spandau Ballet links.
I think it's probably more to him being a higher earner (I'm assuming) and it would make sense to move a player on who's earning a good wage and isn't going to be a regular. Why do so many have a down on Feeney? He did a really good job for us last season and in one of the friendlies I saw,not the one where they played him out of position on the left for some strange reason,he showed he is still a decent player.
Goal!!
He’s got the Pool in his Soul
Danny Kemp’s Indestructible
I saw him say that he doesn't count towards the salary cap, but he didn't mention if he will count towards the 22 man squad. I wish the EFL would clear up this grey area. Previously it has been stated that all loans, even under 21s would count as a squad place.Scrafton just said that he doesn't count towards the 22 player cap so we might not be getting rid of anyone.
Re-call option in January unfortunately.
I'm not disputing this, but I definitely read somewhere on here the other day that all loans count against the squad cap number.Scrafton just said that he doesn't count towards the 22 player cap so we might not be getting rid of anyone.
In fairness, I’ve always thought the “hardest fans in all the land” line was pushing the boundary of fantasy and reality, so I’m sure we can let that one goGiven his injury record, you might need to tamper with the lyrics
In another tweet he said that he will double check, but he believes he is exempt from the player cap as he was still only 20 on January 1st. He knows better than me about this. I've given up trying to understand all the rules about under 21.I saw him say that he doesn't count towards the salary cap, but he didn't mention if he will count towards the 22 man squad. I wish the EFL would clear up this grey area. Previously it has been stated that all loans, even under 21s would count as a squad place.
They won't come with the salary cap Championship players anymore unless they are desperate for a club.wish we sign couple of experiene players who know this league , or have championship experience

No way Kaikai leaves, I’m expecting him to be our star player this season, he’s a class above if he stays fitThe more players we bring in, the more I am convinced the board have given Critch the green light to totally overhaul the squad to the extent where I wouldn't be surprised to see anyone & everyone leave who was here last season, Turton & Nottingham aside due to them signing new contracts. We'll see a few more signings yet, I'm sure of it.
When we signed Bez one of the first thoughts I had was that Kaikai might be on his way.
I'm not disputing his ability, I just wouldn't be surprised if he is moved on now that we have signed Bez.No way Kaikai leaves, I’m expecting him to be our star player this season, he’s a class above if he stays fit
Tiny or tidy?Seems he could be exempt from the salary cap given his age. I know nothing about him but I'm sure will be a tidy little player. I was hoping a defender or 2 would be the priority but welcome to the club Dan!
Not only Italian blood, he was born in Solerno, Italy. His mum was Italian, his dad English.Riva, Rivera, Kemp....I seem to recall despite his un-Italian sounding name our Fred had some Italian blood in him and could play for Italy - had he been asked. Am I making this up or remembering correctly?
I'd read previously that ALL loan players counted towards the cap and the squad size but that was only from a newspaper article.Scrafton just said that he doesn't count towards the 22 player cap so we might not be getting rid of anyone.
I read the same thing so was surprised when he said it before. The EFL really do need to put the ruels out so we all know whats going on. Yet again, piss poor management from the which isn't surprising.I'd read previously that ALL loan players counted towards the cap and the squad size but that was only from a newspaper article.
I still can't find anything definitive on this.
So when you read this Scafters can you publish a copy of the EFL rules please?
Which article was it, mate? Everything I've read implies that ALL U21s are exempt from the salary cap/squad number restrictions - if so (hopefully), it's a very shrewd move from NCI'd read previously that ALL loan players counted towards the cap and the squad size but that was only from a newspaper article.
