The M55 will be closed in both directions between junction 1 at Broughton and junction 3 at Kirkham from 8pm on Friday, January 21 until 6am on Monday, January 24. To allow for a footbridge to be demolished safely.
 
think the thread title is a bit misleading. Before opening thread thought you were actually talking about the actual New Year weekend itself. ie 31sr Dec - 2nd Jan.
 
Two & a half days of the closure is filling in the H&S paperwork & putting out more cones, & dont forget there is only one man & his dog working on the whole job....
