I think we have Barnsley a bit of belief after that last 20 mins unfortunately.

Oxford away at Exeter sounds good

Portsmouth just lost to Wigan at home and 100 points is no longer possible. They may already be on the beach 🙄

It will be a small miracle but as long as there’s a chance I wouldn’t count is out! UTMP!🍊

Lincoln and Oxford have tough games and it's quite likely neither will win them. Do the biz at Reading and we're there.

I am much more confident of beating Reading after today.
The other three all have awkward games to be fair, and they all need to win, but I think while one of them will probably slip up, two of them probably won’t, and we might just miss out.
Having said sll that the force does seem to be with us.

Earlier in the season it was looking like 80 points would be needed to reach the play-offs but here we are where 76 points may well do the trick. We have to forget the other teams though and focus solely on reaching that figure - Reading will not be easy at all. Play like we did yesterday and we should do it and if that's not enough at least we would have done all we can, at least over the final five games.

I know it’s silly to look back but look at all the missed opportunities to get more points like Cheltenham away 🤨
Yes could and should have been in the play offs already - but we are where we are - and unbelievably still in with a chance on the last day . Third in the form table over the last 6 behind Exeter in first and Lincoln . Should be an exciting last day - barsnley by the way are 20th

We are the only ones that have no choice but to go for the win, but even that might not be enough. Barnsley and Lincoln know that a win will be enough, but for all three of Barnsley, Lincoln and Oxford there are scenarios where a draw could be enough if other results went their way. We have no choice, but to go for it from the start (just like yesterday), whilst the others will probably be a little more cautious in their approach. An early goal for us would make it very interesting at the other 3 matches. However, we have to accept that we are the outsiders, and just a little more positivity in the approach v Wycombe a couple of weeks ago would probably have made all the difference. We've probably come to the party a little late, but at least we've turned up at last.

I can’t see Portsmouth losing their last game after such a successful season. So I’ll say
Lincoln 1-1 Pompey (or even Pompey win)
Barnsley 2-1 Northampton
Exeter 1-2 Oxford
Reading 0-1 Blackpool

Three other teams to rely on besides our own result. I want to believe, but I reckon we’ll just miss out. Hope I’m wrong of course!

Not sure that's quite right.
If we win and the other 3 draw we'd be 5th and Barnsley 6th. So the reality is all 4 need to win but ourselves and Oxford have to rely on others.
A win for us and 2 out of the other 3 not to win is our golden ticket.

What I was trying to say was that only a win will do for us, but the others could qualify for the playoffs with just a draw depending on other results.

Barnsley - Win
Oxford - Draw
Lincoln - Lose

If we play anything like yesterday, we have to be confident of taking care of our own business. It promises to be an exciting day and whilst we are far from favourites, we have a hope and that is something I didn't expect after the Wigan and Wycombe games.
