Where does everyone feel we will be looking for next season.

I'll hazard a guess that Watford and Norwich do well, Burnley could lose players along with financial trouble.

I think Rotherham are a strong contender to go down and the rest I have not much clue upon. I can't decide whether we will push on from this season or struggle to compete financially with some of the other clubs in the division, putting us towards the lower end, or stay similar to now, as we showcased last season we were more than good enough. Theres still along time to go, of course

Without knowing what our squad is going to be like it is hard to say. I would be reasonably happy with not getting relegated at this stage of our progress under Simon Sadler, but Critch keeps outperforming the expectations of the bookies and pundits so who knows? Long may it continue.

Early feelings are it's not going to be a great season for us. Feel like there will be a few outgoings of key players, combined with Sadler suggesting we might not be able to spend too much to replace them *. Thinking it will be a lower finish for us than the one just gone. Fearing for relegation.

* having said that Bowler and Grimmy cost us nothing... so maybe their replacements will also cost nothing and still be worthy!

A bit too early to make predictions really, ill wait until the squad is back playing friendlies and see what we look like. Some things do need to obviously change though . We need to score at least 30% more goals, that would probably get us sniffing at the playoffs, to be proper contenders we need to double our goal scoring. Mistakes at the back, which are inevitable over the course of a season, are then not as pronounced. Our ability at set pieces over the season was woeful although we did get better in the last third of the season, and that needs to be changed. teams were leaving two up against us because i think they knew we were not good at converting those opportunities.

Players need to be less reliant on fixed routines, particularly at the back when we play out, but that will only come with time, and we need a bit of luck staying clear of injuries.

think they bookies will have us down as one of the favourites for relegation but we have a solid mid table squad at the moment, can only see it getting better.

having said i wont make predictions, i meant about us, but i can see Birmingham are still going to be in crisis, Hull not far behind them in crisis terms. Cant see Wigan or Rotherham doing anything. Norwich and Watford have both been dire this season, id expect them to be rank average in the championship next time out. Burnley will be another club in crisis.

This is going to be tougher than last season IMO. We may struggle as teams will know all about us, we won’t be taking too many teams by surprise.

Nah, we have a solid championship squad and probably one of the top two or three coaches in the division. what we probably dont have is that stand-out player like many teams do have, the kind that is definitely top tier PL quality that a team gets built around. in many ways i think that might be a good thing, raising the quality of the whole squad seems to be the way NC wants to work.

Hope Costero's right, but tend to agree with Scara's view, although at this stage no-one can do anything other than guess.
People will , presumably, always write us off, which doesn't matter much, but I think fans of other clubs should concentrate on their own issues before having a go at us

How expansive will Neil go to get the extra goals whilst not leaving us at risk of conceding more at the back? That’s what I’m looking at and I too think this may well be tougher this season ,Birmingham Rotherham and one other to go down

I think we may struggle, though I hope not. Clubs with a focus on infrastructure development often cannot commit sufficient resources to mount a top of the table challenge.

It is going to be much harder this coming season with the standard of teams that are coming up, not to mention the three relegated sides. In addition, as of now, no sides will suffer a points reduction.

Norwich are always dire in the Premiership, but always bounce back!

I've gone for top half with confidence but as long as the commitment is there and the football is entertaining I don't really care at this stage. We are a developing club, let's not move to quickly and find ourselves in the same position as some others.

I think we will be in for a difficult season. Bowler will definitely go and maybe Grimmy by the sounds of it. Hopefully we can hang on to Marv. Keogh will be a year older and Madine will be even slower. I'd be very happy with midtable.

Our points haul and form for the last 10 games of last season was a disappointment. We need to have a solid start but we need strengthening. My main concern is service to the strikers.

I think that is spot on - keep what we have including Grimmy and Bowler and add 3/4 players and then 2/3 good loans and I don't see why we shouldn't be competing. Can't see Norwich, Watford or the Dingles having the same impact in the Championship as Fulham and Bournemouth did.

I have NO FEAR of Relegation.

I’ve gone for mid table obscurity but there will will be “comings & goings” player wise so I reserve the right to review my prediction 10 games in.

NO ONE can predict after five games in .

I see a short, bald man who will lead us all from wilderness into enlightenment....
I see his name begins with a P and he's talking......and keeps talking.....and he's talking some more..............BUT, none listen!!!!!

I have no idea. We could push on with a better start or could struggle after being no longer under the radar. I’d take mid table obscurity ATM but as with last season we nearly pushed for top a six finish. Here’s hoping 🤞

18th - 16th. Tougher league, nobody on minus points, lots more teams to outspend us than last season

Probably around the same as last year, maybe better, maybe worse by a spot or two.

I'll be happy with that as long as we begin to show some more identity and Critchley continues to build the squad.

This was made before Critch's departure but shows there was real optimism at the end of last season!
