No, the SNP have decimated Labour in Scotland since 2015.
That’s what I meant but maybe didnt word it too well. If Scotland were to leave the UK it would severely weaken Labours chances of gaining a majority. But if this scandal over Sturgeon weakens the SNP it could mean Labour picking up some disaffected SNP voters

The key report is next week when the independent QC will report on whether she broke the ministerial code. I bet he fudges that and if it goes to a vote of no confidence the Greens will support her because they have no backbone and want independence.

Quite right. I'm surprised at the number of people on the right who want her to fall, in some ways, precisely because of this.

You could argue that this is a win-win situation for the Tory High Command. And I have no doubt that some of them would trade the Union for the prospect of long term hegemony in England in an instant.

It's never guaranteed though.
