Neil Critchley is set to return to Blackpool for the second time after the League One club ended their search for a boss.

I don’t believe a word that 🐓 spouts.
Nixon on Patreon is the modern day equivalent of clubcall in the 90s where you rang a premium number and it cost about £3 per minute where some guy took two days to say a sentence. I used to read what he said, three years ago. I wouldn’t waste your money on him now, as someone else said - it’s immoral!

Well if it's true then I hope he knocks the fist pumping on the head, it'll never work second time around.

Nixon gets a lot of stick but I reckon his information is correct and Critch will return , I would of preferred a change but let's support the club and the manager and get some feel good bk , people point to games where we melted like derby and pboro but what about bburn/preston at home good crowds good atmospheres , decent at setting a team up. Some Big clubs in lge 1 and getting out of it isn't a gimme.

I hope this is true.
It ends the uncertainty and he is a good manager, I'm sure he will be a bit wiser (and richer) now.
Let's get the positive vibe back.

I'd be quite optimistic if it was him - and I wasn't his biggest fan when he was here as he clearly benefitted by having a right hand man.

Hopefully Dobbie would take that role.

It might not be a role

Most managers want their own right hand man not someone forced on them

Preston at home this season good crowd, good atmosphere, great result. Would you want Appleton back?

Nixon just guesses, then when it doesn't happen he claims that it broke down over terms or something similar, he really has no clue what the club is doing at the moment.

IF Critchley is appointed, that must mean there's no quality manager interested & SS has no confidence in Dobbs.
I for one hope Nixon is wrong (again) but that's just my opinion.
Stephen Dobbie for me - a man who knows what he's doing, has a personality, is respected by supporters & who can be trusted.

Critchley isn't ex preston though.

I’ll be really happy with Critch - knows the players, dominated league 1 last time (after admittedly a poor start).

I was upset at the way he left but there is no comparison of his credentials compared to Dobbie, although I hope Dobbie can play a role in the backroom staff.

If it is Critch - please can we stick together as fans and not cause anymore divide. Take the way he left on the chin and let’s get behind the club.
