Agree with @td53 about a lack of excitement at BR. I am usually incensed about poor results but they don’t come as a surprise anymore. In fact it’s when we win I’m most surprised. Our Work Xmas party on Tuesday and for years I would never choose that over a home game but would sooner be at the party.
Maybe the Prem year, the Oystons and Covid has taken its toll and that sense of excitement is disappearing. A lot of talk over summer about automatic promotion would really benefit the club but ironically this mid-table mind numbing season could start to kill it off.
Would I sack Critch - probably not - but what I would say is I’d sooner have Dobbie’s attacking exciting football than this cautious boring stuff Critch is dishing out.
