Simon when/if you sack Critch please go for a manager who as never managed us before clearly your choice of Critchley and Appleton second time around as not worked.

But yet how many would take Holloway back right now?

Chris Beech for me he’s working wonders right now at Fylde he’s young ambitious local and served his managerial apprenticeship in the lower leagues.

Maybe even as a possible No2 to Charlie Adam?

Wether we’d get him off dog food dave is another matter.

Some would but the majority wouldn’t I don’t think.
We need a young enthusiastic manager and reading Charlie Adams interview the other day he sounds perfect and very determined to succeed in management.

Would steer away from Beech imo, doing well at Fylde and his Carlisle spell was mixed - don’t think it’s what we need at this point .

For me, Michael Duff and Pete Wild are the top 2 choices (thought Duff may not be available). Wouldn’t mind if we swung for the fences and tried someone from abroad though.

Brian Barry-Murphy is very highly rated by many, he could be a boom or bust choice playing City’s style of football.

Beech was shit on by the board at Carlisle selling his best players and not giving him any cash to replace them. Its taken a few weeks but he now has AFC Flid playing some good stuff. He is a good coach and should be in the league, not sure we are the right fit for him though.

Michael Duff is the obvious candidate if Critchley leaves at some point.
