Simon when/if you sack Critch please go for a manager who as never managed us before clearly your choice of Critchley and Appleton second time around as not worked.
Some would but the majority wouldn’t I don’t think. But yet how many would take Holloway back right now?
Would steer away from Beech imo, doing well at Fylde and his Carlisle spell was mixed - don’t think it’s what we need at this point .But yet how many would take Holloway back right now?
Chris Beech for me he’s working wonders right now at Fylde he’s young ambitious local and served his managerial apprenticeship in the lower leagues.
Maybe even as a possible No2 to Charlie Adam?
Wether we’d get him off dog food dave is another matter.
Michael Duff is the obvious candidate if Critchley leaves at some point.Would steer away from Beech imo, doing well at Fylde and his Carlisle spell was mixed - don’t think it’s what we need at this point .
For me, Michael Duff and Pete Wild are the top 2 choices (thought Duff may not be available). Wouldn’t mind if we swung for the fences and tried someone from abroad though.
Brian Barry-Murphy is very highly rated by many, he could be a boom or bust choice playing City’s style of football.
