No ST this year, for me...

I've endured the bottom of league 4 flirting with the thought of having to seek reelection and the Oyston years, all thirty of them. 'Never felt so low' is because when Simon arrived and Critch there was so much optimism that perhaps the 2010 promo days were coming back. 16th in our first season in Champs was commendable and I'd thought we'd push on this season. Big, big disappointment. That's why I'm p****d off. We know supporting the Pool is a roller coaster experience but can we just try and start and sustain an upward trajectory for a change following the dark later Oyston years. But, the old chestnut, it'll need some investment on the playing side, which I'm afraid will probably be modest compared to Champs standards again. Week after week we saw teams arrive at Bloomers, bigger, stronger, better organised, more skilful, more quality and we were bullied out of games, protected by the referees. Its gonna need investment on the pitch and sadly I'm not hopeful it'll come from SS.
There will always be bigger and better clubs with all their financial support, but we are The Pool so we have to do things a bit different.
That's probably why it have super them for over 50 odd years.
And as a kid grew up watching the best Leeds side of all time, still chose Blackpool!
Maybe the difference between us is the expectation levels.
The massive clubs not for me.

I'm uncertain at the moment.
MrsDP doesn't like me driving when it gets dark so would miss a few games. 🙁
I'm somewhat ambivalent about it, but will make a decision soon.

To be honest Bridcutt was a panic buy because we missed out on our targets and he was out of contract and Trybull came in 6 months too late

So both of them are completely on Sadler
So why does he bother employing people to make these decisions, the fans weren't happy so now they are history, and we give someone else a go.
Sounds good to me.

Sounds good to you?

What having no manager or board?

Nothing good about it, its a cluster fuck

Who decided the retained list?

Not sure why the OP is getting so much stick

It's not like he's going to support Preston or anything he's still Blackpool fan he's just not going to commit to a season ticket

That's his choice

It really isn't a big deal

I've never understood why people put so much importance on having a season ticket

A season ticket reserves you the same seat for every match and comes in handy if you are going to attend the majority of home games, if you aren't able to there is no point in getting one
I am with you on this Phil and I have been contemplating the same as the OP but, mainly due to personal issues.
But the amount of grief he has taken on here is shocking.

The only way I would not buy a season ticket is if the Judas got his job back , and if he did how would the fans react to his punching the air and his badge touching.
Judas had no need to have become unpopular. The badge kissing should be reserved for true fan/players not professionals and a simple thanks and acknowledgement would have ensured a relatively seamless detachment with goodwill.

To me it suggests he is a disingenuous character, like so many professional walks of life not just football.

That's a really interesting one - there does seem a real connect between him and the supporters which I can't help think is part of the problem. Bit more communication please Simon.
When KO KO was in charge during the PL season most just forget the odious worm existed. I think is the same for most clubs. It’s only when things slide the scrutiny begins.

Surely, the uncertainty of 'how next season pans out' is all part and parcel of being a fan?
Suffering the trials and tribulations of what a new season brings, in turn gives us optimism and at the same time despair.
It's in our DNA, it sparks debate, it's what drags us through the turnstiles on a cold, wet, Tuesday night.
I don't know about anybody else, but digging ourselves out of the 'crest of a slump', is just as exhilarating as seeing us go 6/7 games unbeaten.
It might just be me. Perhaps I'm morbidly fascinated by troubled times....?
Whatever it is, I'm just proud to turn up whenever I possibly can and 'support'.
The important factor overriding all of this is Blackpool FC is my choice of team, and I wouldn't have it any other way... UTMP
