Nobbers

Only 9952 at Dumpdale, Oh Dear

Attendance: 9,952 (690 away fans)

Bit over 9k of them, looks like those season tickets seats being held after the first game were bumping it up also the bad form.

For an established championship club with no boycotts or owners like weve had thats not the best is it. Not to mention 2k+ freebies....

They claim to be massive lol.

Not bothered about that lot. Let 'em get on with their own washing.
Yeah but they've claimed to be 'much' bigger many times, they have had the advantages of no owners like our last and no boycott years etc, plus we had many years in the doldrums.

For now our average attendance is higher.

Don't know if it'll stay like that, as they still have the stadium size advantage but shows our numbers are not too bad considering our walk on prices are higher than theirs.

Eff 'em! 😂🧡

They do have an advantage of being able to give away fans 5k for clubs who demand it, unless they have stopped that now?
Then again maybe we do now, problem is if its a big game and we give away fans the whole east we can't have any more home fans than the 3 sides.

Could you please provide some actually evidence! to support your claim that we think we’re a big club?
There has been tons of stuff posted on your site saying how small a club we were, tiny and you were way bigger etc.

You'll never get like for like exact circumstances given the recent history etc, but the truth is when its fairly even both at the same level and in the same division there's not much in it.

I know, I was referring to 62 years.
He (or she) only ever writes anything when pool are doing shit. 23 posts when we were losing, only about 5 after we scored/drew level - and none of those were positive or showed any sign of enjoyment of our team. He (or she) only ever wants to complain, moan, berate, antagonise, come out with homophobic/racist/anti-lgbtq+/sexist comments- he's even sent people death threats on here!!!! If anyone's inciting negativity then it's that bloody nobber! And if me calling him a nobber is upsetting you then you can just join the nobber cult with him.

Also if you want to come out with these fascist, derogatory and discriminatory comments then I'm almost certain I am more intelligent than yourself @62years&counting .

NOBBER

Calling anyone a Nobber is extremely offensive and that sort of language shouldn’t be tolerated on this board.

I’m surprised the thread hasn’t been removed by the moderators.

No one should ever use the N word.

Worse than the C word
Given I'm a Pool fan of 64 years I don't take kindly to it. We all have our opinions, surely they can be debated or argued over without deliberate baiting etc.

Just to get back to the original subject.
I think Preston , Blackburn ( who got just under 12k yesterday against WBA) and us all have a similar home following this season. It shows how far we have come but in their defence they are both bored of being in this league and don't have the kick on of new momentum that we have. ( hope that makes sense)
Fleetwood got 2390 yesterday which shows their crowds are dropping as for the past couple of seasons they've banked 2600 home fans at every game in the home end.
It's getting harder to find attendances because they've started leaving a lot out in the paper and online. I'm sure covid will be an excuse somewhere but God knows why.

Bonehead. I've seen us win there 7 times including when we won 3-0 in 1970 and relegated them to the old division 3. Pool of course were promoted to the old division 1.
That was a great day, Fred Pickering Hat-trick and I remember Jimmy Armfield overlapping down the wing and then running back and all the pool fans on the side cheering him , a wonderful player and a lovely man

Blackburn was...

Attendance: 11,926 (2,359 away)

Which Is about 9500 home fans not too dissimilar to us.

On the one hand we can say we've just been promoted and have a buzz about us.

On another we are on the back of lost generations, boycott years all have an affect, very high walk on prices for cat a. You need a consistent period of relative success to help build a fanbase.

On the one hand they are a bit bored of the championship, but on another they were seeing a higher level of football week in week out, are established championship sides without years in the doldrums or boycotts like ours. Id mention owners like we had, certainly pne haven't experienced anything like it although Blackburns aren't great, as bad as the Oystons though.......?

No idea what Blackburn give away in season tickets, but the nobbers on their own site said they usually sell about 6k and yet in those prior years had st sales of over 8k, so giveaways must be about 2k+ possibly.

When thats factored in some of the numbers aren't that impressive, if we gave that empty east away we'd be getting 14k crowds.

Or indeed of we allow 4.5k away fans into the East our figures will look mush bigger too, PNE away end holds just over 5k I think and blackburns about 7 I think.

Our problem is if we do that in a big game we cant fill much more than we do at the moment home fans wise wheres they can still give away fans all that and can have 15k+ home fans or whatever.

Just because a few people make comment, doesn’t mean we all believe it.

62. It’s actually doesn’t offend me. I see it as a term of endearment😉!

Your lack of intellect is beyond question.
People like you should be put down as you serve no useful purpose to society.
I shall continue to express my opinion whenever I see fit and you or nobody else will stop me. You should seek help for your obvious issues.

You do yourself no favours when you tell people they ought to be put down. Some of the shit you said to me last season when you realised you were wrong was absolutely unacceptable. It’s quite unbelievable to see you accuse anybody else of having issues, when you have lost your shit and all control of yourself on here time and time and time again. I’m not having a go at you, but I think you genuinely should seek help with regards to some of the horrible shit you flippantly come out with. You’ve a dark heart.
