Norburn's "Stiff neck"

Missing again yesterday, apparently with the world's worst ever case of a stiff neck. Any news on when he'll be back?

Critch's interview I caught somewhere yesterday, can't remember where, suggested they decided not to risk it.

So hd must have been close? I reckon he'll be back for Bolton.

From alll accounts he's not far away...

And wheres Matty Virtue ? Played a full season on loan at Lincoln last year then comes back plays one game for us and then injured AGAIN ! Takes the piss 🤣

Club aren't exactly forth coming with injuries and when we should expect them back. Really held us back for 2 or 3 years with injuries and the amount of them.

Either we aren't doing our due diligence properly on players, we have a poor medical team, we have poor facilities which keep these injuries happening or we're extremely unlucky.

We should be OK when the new training ground is finished. 🤦🤣

We don't currently have more injuries than most other sides. People love to catastrophise. And Gabriel got injured at home. It's inevitable that people who play an intense physical contact sport and train all week will pick up injuries. Spurs picked up two last night I believe. People love to grab any stick to beat the club with.

Norburn will hopefully be back.
Casey and Dougall will both return after Bolton.
Virtue, Joseph and Gabriel should all be ready for the 1st team in December. We just need to keep picking up points and hope we can start to push the top sides over Christmas. No panic needed as yet.

For that to happen our results over the festive period would need to improve dramatically on our recent record over the same period.

I realise this might be clutching at straws but could we not perhaps make an approach to American actor Peter Wellar (aka RoboCop), maybe entice him out of retirement, and see if he would be prepared to help out in BFC's moment of need? Because if memory serves, I seem to recall he made what was nothing short of a miraculous recovery as an American cop who had sustained appalling injuries whilst on duty in the 1987 film of the same name, and so, all these years on, if he could demonstrate a similar transition to that which he went through on RoboCop, I don't see why he couldn't be persuaded to encourage some of our injured midfielders to follow his example. Yes/No?

Although I'm not sure it's a message we should be promoting...

News just in, they've dislodged the little blue tablet that was found in Norburn's throat and his stiff neck has miraculously disappeared.

I'm really hoping it's a case of saving him for this game, a midfield without Dougall or Norburn on Saturday could be disastrous.

I wouldn't be too optimistic about his availability for Saturday. Critchley has stated that "we're getting closer" - not to the effect that we are confident or optimistic that he will be fit.

He should have been a politician. His interviews are meaningless - they tell us nothing!
