Anyone want to pick the winner from that semi final line up? I’d guess O’Sullivan, who is moving along smoothly now, but all of them looking good?
 
Incredible really. 3 of the 4 been at it for a long long time.

I guess Ronnie will be the bookies favourite but personally I'd go for the old grinder John Higgins. Old school hard to beat yet can still mix it with the break builders.

Looking forward to the weekend.
 
Great semi final line up with three players born in 1975 + Trump. I think if Williams, Higgins or O'Sullivan win they become the oldest ever world champion.

Heart says O'Sullivan, head says Williams.
 
Walthamstow, I'd actually say it the other way round.

As long as O'Sullivan wakes up with the right head on, which he usually does at the big ones, then he'll be very hard to beat over the long format.

But I hope Williams does it, even if the commentators have already exceeded the "he floats them in" count.
 
Anyone but Higgins. Was watching last night and cursed when LIsowski missed that fairly easy red in final frame. No time for Higgins after that betting scandal.
 
It's a toss up really, anyone but cheating Higgins would be good, it's always a joy to watch Williams in full flight.
 
I'd like to see Williams do it as well. He's been a joy to watch at times. The standard of play this year has been very high.

Anything but that corrupt ** Higgins is good for the game, should have been banned for life.
 
Really enjoying the tournament this year apart from hearing John ( Where's the cue ball goings ) voice
 
Sat next to Mark Williams at Utd v Liverpool League Cup Final in Cardiff. I don’t like to bother people but he spoke to me. He was a right nice bloke talking to me and my mate during the game….which Utd lost

Seems like someone that doesn't pick his cue up between tournaments, unless it's the Worlds when he'll put a couple of hours in after golf.
 
Williams and O'Sullivan are a joy to watch and I hope one of these wins it.

I'm concerned about the dress code for the spectators. Aside from a few obscure rugby league shirts, why are they are letting retards in with slogans on their sweat shirts? There is a grown man with 'crucible crazy' emblazoned across his chest.

I'm glad you no longer need to wear a suit to watch the snooker but these Yaarkshire folk are taking the piss
 
Williams was absolutely show stopping last night…mistakes a plenty, incredible pots, going for everything and won nearly all the frames. Trump looked shell shocked at the end of the night.

if Trump still manages to win the semi after that I would back him to beat O Sullivan…showing great steel and carrying it through to the final.

I love Higgins as a complete all round top player…he needs to bring his best today to beat smug O Sullivan.

if Williams gets to the final I think he could just carry that nothing to lose all out attack with him so it would be a fireworks final where it’s impossible to call against OSullivan.

so I have no idea about a winner 😂
