So did I .They used to turn up each week in a lorry/van and you could choose which flavour .I rather liked the limeade which never seemed to start any pandemics.

Used to get ours from Timbertops parents newsagents on The Boulevard in St Annes. The other was Ben Shaws with the rubber stoppers as the caps.

Great grandad used to get a bottle of sarsaparilla or root beer from the grocers at Manchester Road, before walking down to Raikes Hall Gardens to see the original team. For a treat like a Lancashire Combination clash with South Shore FC they'd all suck on Uncle Joes mintballs,which went down well with the SS fans too.
