AVFTT won't be but if you've googled it that's what cookies are all about, targeted advertising. I'm convinced Alexa listens to us though.

Yes. We were talking about a city break and adverts for flights to Amsterdam appeared at the top of AVFTT
 
Your phones are definitely listening, and that's usually connected to google if you're on Android
 
Not AVFTT but I’m convinced Google is listening in, or our smart TVs. It’s happened to me on numerous occcasions
 
Of course apps and Google are listening. It'll all be there in the terms and conditions.

If you say OK Google at any point, It'll listen for the words to search so it's always listening for that prompt.

Then we have whoever else could be listening and the many things they could do a decade ago....

Someone did research on it and put it to the test and everything that this person mentioned, up popped an ad for it.
And it's happened to me many times over the years.
It's not Walls have ears these days.

Alexa is definitely listening. Without a doubt. So many times I've asked a random question and then something related pops up on my laptop.
 
Yeh, they pick up on keywords. Your data is worth more than gold. Everyone will have data stored specific to them
 
Get the occasional coffee paraphernalia related advert but generally it's all irrelevant sh1t I'm not interested in
 
Weirdly took my Uncles dog out Sunday and yesterday had adds for Dogs treats.
I hadn't googled anything about Dogs.
 
Was looking at accessories/upgrades for my Sage Barista Express espresso machine last nigh and this morning all the ads are for a particular brand of accounting software
