O/T Neighbours - Final Episode

I can't be the only one on here who has been watching Neighbours on and off for years.

To think I was 14 back in October 1986; I turn 50 in December - and throughout that time I think it's been the best candy floss TV to wind down to and on the brightest things on TV.

I am going to miss it.
 
I don't mind my soaps but Neighbours is one soap I've never watched. I'll even admit ot watching Home and Away many many years ago.

I have not watched it for years I did it came on the belgium channel about 5yrs ago it was about 10 yrs behind
Then 2yr ago they took it off I watched it for years in england
I remember kylie as a car mechanic ffs
 
My GF never misses an episode, she's gutted it's going. I probably see more episodes than not and I must admit I'll quite miss the pointless fluff of it myself!

Everyone watches it in hartlepool ha ha
 
It's not actually called Ramsey Street but is in fact Pin Oak Court. I visited it when I was in Melbourne and said something tongue in cheek about not really liking the show when Harold Bishop asked me if I was a big fan. His face was a picture!

He wrote quite a few episodes of neighbours and cell block h aswell as acting in them….a stalwart of soapdom by all accounts! He’s worn pretty well by the recent photos….he must be nearly 100!
 
I watched it years ago. Sometimes at dinner and again at tea time !. That Angry Anderson song, Suddenly. Is one of my all time favourite tracks. Known as the Scott and Charlene one !.

Marlene (RIP) was a lovely lady who was happy chatting with people who were watching the filming but that young Libby girl just blanked everyone when she was leaving the set walking past viewers.
 
Haven’t watched it for years decades after watching it during my teenage years.
Jumped ship not long after Kylie and Jason did.
RIP Neighbours

Incredibly powerful writing that causing a tear.

That's a story of my life watching the programme and I think it's probably the same for many others.
 
Probably the first episode i have watched since i was at school 25 years ago. The wife is a fan so i reluctantly agreed to sit and watch it with her.
I have to admit as a laid on thick bit of nostalgia i quite enjoyed it and it will have earned me a few bonus points for future use.😀
 
Made me a bit sad that, watched it after school every night from the early 90s to about 2000. Was Byker Grove then Neighbours, then home and away, then killing time till Corrie/EastEnders (what a life)

Hope Toadfish has got something lined up, true charisma always finds a way.
