O/T Royal Variety Performance 2020 will be at Blackpool Opera House

Good publicity but shouldn't be going ahead I'm afraid we're supposed to be in lock down and your not to leave your home unless essential or going to work etc yet you've people travelling all over the country to do a charity event from stars to technician's it makes no sense.

Agree good publicity but will anyone benefit financially apart from the Opera House? Assume they'll get a fee for staging it there but that's about it..
 
I imagine royalty will be attending via Zoom...let’s hope they don’t accidentally tap into Andy’s private feed or we might end up with something decidedly non-family friendly.

Probably the same reason football, Strictly, I’m a celeb, rugby, cricket, snooker, golf and all the other necessary unnecessary things that are providing distraction and uplift.
 
Good job it is on ITV. The BBC would probably think Captain Sir Thomas Moore wasn't politically correct
