O T Selling a house advice/recommendation on who to go with please anyone

We went with Hunters on Highfield Rd last time, no bother, Paul is a straightforward chap to deal with.
 
The Square Room seem to have garnered a good reputation. Not used them myself, but a pal of mine who is in the property business recommends them....
 
I think when people are looking for houses they’ve an area in mind and a budget ….they then go on rightmove…so I’d be thinking who’s the cheapest 👍..

The house market has fallen on its arse the last 6 months and will take another 6 months before we see any signs of it recovering.
Will take a further 12 months to get back where it was last summer.
As for who to recommend then the Square Room every time.

Not from mine and my families experience they're not.

Undervalued my house and argued I'd not get what the Square Room said. Of course I got what the Square Room said.

Put my in laws house up for sale and took poor pictures. Also didn't highlight the big selling points of it.

Another for the Square Room. Sold my house quick and are always quick to reply with help and queries.

Just do not use TIGER!!!!!!!!!
 
For conveyancing defiantly Lori McPhee (Related to “Chopper McPhee” so I’m told). She used to work with TAM at BBE, but now works at Addies at Fleetwood.
She has done about 8 House Sales/Purchases/Remortgages for me would automatically use again.
 
If you prefer the traditional High Street Estate Agent rather than on line, I'd add to the posters who say Mackenzie.

I've Not looked lately, but he charges a lot less than say Reeds Rains (less than half). I recommended Darren twice to relatives after other Agents didn't manage to sell their house, and he got sales quickly.
 
We used Stephen Tew on Highfield road. We tried all of the others on HR. Everyone one of them wanted us to list the house at a cheaper value (Hunters were the worse - valuing the property at ~40k lower than the others!). Stephen showed us all the data detailing how he'd come to the valuation and talked through their customer service commitment. We sold the house within 45 minutes of it being listed. Recommend.
