Is it only me who has been taken aback about how quickly we have descended it to colder days and darker nights? Took the dog out at 6.30pm last night and was pitch black when we got back and threw the heating on. Was it that burst of hot weather that fooled us or does anyone else think the transition this season has been particularly brutal!

Heating on for a week or so because as you say, the cold days have arrived.

We have had such a good 6 months that I think we have forgotten what shite weather looks like. The fact we went from 21 degrees down to 13 just like that hasn't helped. Still we have a mini heatwave starting Thursday

Yep fingers crossed for a front loaded winter and maybe a milder Jan/Feb cos they are crappy months.
