o/t Your first order at the bar when this is over ....

It will have to be a sunny day so I can sit in the beer garden. I'm not standing/sitting in a busy pub. A nice pint of IPA

We won't be allowed out for a good while yet and when we are, pubs, restaurants, theatres, cinemas etc...etc...are going to need (and almost certainly going to get) a lot of custom to help them recover from a very lean time.

For those who ain't going back to support their local pub before they go under does that mean you won't be attending football matches also?
Equally full of people.

I'll be down the local as much as I can to try to help them get back on their feet, practicing whatever measures are relevant at the time regarding social distancing, sanitising, whatever. They have a huge beer garden so, as long as the weather is ok, social distancing will be easy.

I think before we all go rushing out to the pub we need time to reflect on loved ones we all lost the ones who we couldn’t see before they sadly passed away.
It’s certainly not a time to celebrate rushing out to the pub and getting pissed that’s for sure.

There has been a shift away from the pub culture over the last 20 years accelerated by the smoking ban in 2007 & as Mac has said above whilst I've been typing many more will close as a result of this.
My first order will be a Corona just for the hell of it, don't know when that'll be I certainly won't be rushing back.

Nobody was saying it was. The op asked a simple question to lighten the mood in pretty grim times.

Don't do pubs much, but a nice pint of Wildcat and a bag of crisps for the dogs. Suppose the missus will want a white wine. Most of the rest who are there will be Tennants
