It's just happened in the Utd Brighton game, we had one at Brum yesterday and there's probably a double figures number of them somewhere every weekend.

This business of the linesman not flagging immediately. Crazy rule.

And to cap it all it's Chizzy's main bugbear too, so palpably time to scrap it and go back to normal.

I can sort of understand it with VAR in play, but it's completely stupid at levels below the Prem.

it did, but on the quick replay shown at the time it looked very tight. So he may have been onside in which case if they'd scored then after VAR the goal would have stood. So maybe in this case the lino was right to not raise his flag immediately. I switched over soon as the game had finished so don't know if it was looked at and discussed more thoroughly after the game.
 
It is obvious they will not flag a marginal decision when they have VAR, but as said above, not when they don't.
 
Talking of offside, anyone know how Brad Holmes was offside when he was 1 on 1 with the keeper when Birmingham gave him the ball?
