Although we played with a back 4 I absolutely agree. Let's hope we get the same outcome from Rob Apter’s loan.

I think he’s class. He seems to have come back to us with some more finesse and reads the game very well: he plays a few nice passes as well. That’s what the loan experience gets you.

For what it’s worth, that’s why I have no problem with the Apter loan. It’s very hard for non-professionals to judge when someone has ‘enough’ game smarts to actually play in the first team regularly. If Apter needs a little more time then so be it, we can welcome him back at Christmas or next summer.

I think with what Oli has been saying Forest Green were punching well above there level in League1 and he had to put in a serious shift last season.
It's obviously matured him and brought out the best in him, a big plus for us so far this season.

Was definitely a back 4 until Dougall came on and he pushed Virtue on the right and CJ further back. Morgan played on the left from the start with Weir and Norburn the midfield two. Not sure how people didn’t see that.
