Casey is by far the better central defender but, to be fair to Critch, Connolly has a left foot! Perhaps if Casey had a full back to his left, the situation would be easier!A real blind spot there from Critchley when he preferred Connolly over him recently
Connolly is right footed,he played right back virtually the whole of last season!Casey is by far the better central defender but, to be fair to Critch, Connolly has a left foot! Perhaps if Casey had a full back to his left, the situation would be easier!
We know this! Casey is right footed too. The difference is, as my post suggested, that Connolly does have a reasonable left foot which Casey doen't seem to have.Connolly is right footed,he played right back virtually the whole of last season!
I think that it's plain to see that in his last three games in that left centre back position he's far more reliable than Connolly whether or not who's better with their left footWe know this! Which part of my "Casey is by far the better central defender" statement suggest that I don't disagree?I think that it's plain to see that in his last three games in that left centre back position he's far more reliable than Connolly
Not so much a 'real blind spot', as an 'absolute travesty'.A real blind spot there from Critchley when he preferred Connolly over him recently
Can I boldly make the suggestion that, in the event of Connolly being ruled of playing duties as a result of being injured, we should maybe consider making an approach to Irish actor Daniel Day-Lewis, who, although having no sporting pedigree, as such, did take the lead role in the film production entitled 'My Right Foot.' Worth a punt, wouldn't you say?Connolly is right footed,he played right back virtually the whole of last season!
