One shout out to Casey

We know this! Casey is right footed too. The difference is, as my post suggested, that Connolly does have a reasonable left foot which Casey doen't seem to have.
I think that it's plain to see that in his last three games in that left centre back position he's far more reliable than Connolly whether or not who's better with their left foot

Which part of my "Casey is by far the better central defender" statement suggest that I don't disagree? 🤪
Like Critchley, I'd prefer a left sided central defender to have a good left foot and preferably for it to be his prefered foot. He toyed with the one with the better left foot but, quite rightly, has now gone for the better defender. We've needed a back-up for Hubby all season!

Connolly is right footed,he played right back virtually the whole of last season!
Can I boldly make the suggestion that, in the event of Connolly being ruled of playing duties as a result of being injured, we should maybe consider making an approach to Irish actor Daniel Day-Lewis, who, although having no sporting pedigree, as such, did take the lead role in the film production entitled 'My Right Foot.' Worth a punt, wouldn't you say?

Husband's injury is fortuitous as I get the feeling if Casey had been left out much longer he might have been off at the end of the season.
