One year on

I think it could be any set of football club supporters to be honest. Swings and roundabouts. Debates , disagreements and crap pies are the highlight of most message boards.

mmmm...is that an accurate screenshot of Arsenals results from around a year ago? Arsenal lost 3-0 at Tottenham next to the last match of last season on 12th May. Think that xcreenshot could well be from Dec 2020.

Yes. Looking at their league results a year ago before the domestic cup comps caused interruption they won four in a row before losing to Man City, drawing with Burnley and then five successive league wins.

So I doubt any Arsenal fans were attacking their manager over that set of results. No excuses for them if they were doing that twelve months ago.

They are, or were, a streaky team last season. Fell away at the end and Spurs got their Champions League place instead.

Only takes a bad month this season and Man City might well end up with their Premier League trophy as well.

Newcastle were bottom for a long time last year. Investment a good managerial appointment and look at them now.
As above the premier league is a different kettle of fish.

Yes, a very good point. A good manager is vital and I think Eddie Howe is that. Why? Well they haven't gone out and as such bought the PL even though we all know who their backers are. Have they spent massively on a so called world superstar? No not yet. What Howe has done is turned players that were already there into much better and more consistent team players. No mean achievement!
