Why would a Blackpool fan be pissed off with a chance of getting into the championship.?Imagine the meltdown on here if we actually made them, some would be pissed off...
Don’t think anyone would be pissed off.Imagine the meltdown on here if we actually made them, some would be pissed off...
Just dangling it out there...Don’t think anyone would be pissed off.
The football was ** atrocious last night and for the majority of the season. Least enjoyable season travelling round the country watching Blackpool FC in my life time.
?Just dangling it out there...
The idea that some would rather us miss the play offs (which is still very likely) so they can drill down on Critchley Out.
Who cares how we win at this stage of the season. 7 points out of 9 with not many games to play is a good return. Keep believingWhy would a Blackpool fan be pissed off with a chance of getting into the championship.?
That said, only scraping past rank bad teams 1-0 in their last two home games shouldn't really fill you with much optimism.
Nah, it's not really a thing is it. I've not seen anything on here, group chats en masse which suggests that people want that. The idea that some would rather us miss the play offs (which is still very likely) so they can drill down on Critchley Out.
Without doubt. The idea that some would rather us miss the play offs (which is still very likely) so they can drill down on Critchley Out.
You're not an extremist though, we've got some out there.Nah, it's not really a thing is it. I've not seen anything on here, group chats en masse which suggests that people want that.
I just want him to change his approach when it isn't working and he hasn't done. If we miss out on the play offs by 1 point, it really does mask over how bad we have been at times.
Yeah we do. We also have some people skipping down the road whistling as if everything has been wonderful at Bloomfield Road this season when it hasn't.You're not an extremist though, we've got some out there.
Not for me, he won't anyway, but he does need to change things in the summer either a) sign some players he actually wants and who can pay the system or b) change the frickin system.Yeah we do. We also have some people skipping down the road whistling as if everything has been wonderful at Bloomfield Road this season when it hasn't.
Maybe if our manager had been a little bit more honest, had a bigger set of balls and said things how things were. He might have had the fans on side all season. He's made a rod for his own back for the style of play and the way he's approach media interviews.
I said 3 games ago, he had 6 games to save his job. No play offs and he should go for me.
Why? They are still demanding the manager and most of the team get out of the club. NOW.Why would a Blackpool fan be pissed off with a chance of getting into the championship.?
That said, only scraping past rank bad teams 1-0 in their last two home games shouldn't really fill you with much optimism.
I may be wrong, but I think people wanted Bowyers Boycotters promoted more than this squad. The worst promotion of all time is still on.
Of course it's there. We had people booing round us at half time, when we were winning.Nah, it's not really a thing is it. I've not seen anything on here, group chats en masse which suggests that people want that.

I agree, except that I would think two seasons will be the limit … unless we got beat in the playoff finalNot for me, he won't anyway, but he does need to change things in the summer either a) sign some players he actually wants and who can pay the system or b) change the frickin system.
It's one season, but if it continues in to next season and we're mid table he should go by mid autumn,
Why are they booing Wiz? We're struggling to beat the whipping boys of the league? Oxford twatted them 4-0 and it should have been 8.Of course it's there. We had people booing round us at half time, when we were winning.
Hatred is not pretty.
When I saw our run in, I knew the fixture gods were willing us to reach the playoffs.Believe!
well why shouldn't they? Firstly i've not read anything from anyone claiming not to want us to get promoted just so they can slag Critchley off. They are two separate issues. But for a great many people, this season has been boring, full of absolute awful performances and that is down to Critchley. So why should he be void from criticism? The play offs should haave been well within our reach if he had committed to going out to win games. Especially away from home.Without doubt.
That really is strong home form. It probably also highlights how shit the away form has beenThere’s an outside chance we could make the play offs, strange things happen in the last few games with teams bottling it.
Looking at our home form, when was the last time a season ticket holder saw so many good results in a season? Perhaps people think we should be battering teams in this league 3 or 4 each game? Our issue has been away and being over cautious, plus a system that doesn’t seem to bring the best out of the players. Critch will look at this and argue his system works, it’s away he needs to look at for next season. Home results though can’t be argued, and anyone booing at 1-0 up at half-time in a local Derby needs to take up another hobby.
I couldnt believe it when I heard that. 1-0 up and booing. Bizarre.Of course it's there. We had people booing round us at half time, when we were winning.
Hatred is not pretty.

Yep, bizarre really but probably shows how much our ground and fans make a difference and highlights Critch’s cautious /possession based approach away not working. Rhodes being injured a massive part of our poor run of not scoring too.I mean, what are the odds of sneaking the last spot? The form Oxford/Lincoln are in and our form. I'd say 20/1 at least. One in 20 times.
You're just an old grumpy guts. I hope you don't start gigs like that:I mean, what are the odds of sneaking the last spot? The form Oxford/Lincoln are in and our form. I'd say 20/1 at least. One in 20 times.
You'd be clutching with that argument. I'd counter argue that we should have scored at least 3. Score the penalty and the game is dead. They got a few late chances because we got nervous at 1 0. They don't happen if Lavery scores. Why are they booing Wiz? We're struggling to beat the whipping boys of the league? Oxford twatted them 4-0 and it should have been 8.
I'd argue it probably could have been a draw last night.
Our support at home over the last few games has been shite. No support at all. It's better away even though there hadn't been much to shout about.Yep, bizarre really but probably shows how much our ground and fans make a difference and highlights Critch’s cautious /possession based approach away not working. Rhodes being injured a massive part of our poor run of not scoring too.
I agree with most of that but to say the vast majority of the North wanted a fist pump is a little off. I sit in block C and most were completely ambivalent to Critchley. I'd say it was a small minority who actually egged him on.You'd be clutching with that argument. I'd counter argue that we should have scored at least 3. Score the penalty and the game is dead. They got a few late chances because we got nervous at 1 0. They don't happen if Lavery scores.
Worth pointing out that the vast majority of the North stayed on to insist on a fist pump from Critchley, so maybe the majority of the real world doesn't pay much attention to the negativity.
Byers in midfield is lightyears better than Norburn. This makes the football better and more attacking, but from a very low bar.Nah, it's not really a thing is it. I've not seen anything on here, group chats en masse which suggests that people want that.

Looking at Oxford's games, there's no reason we can't be ahead of them with two wins from the last 2 games. They'll struggle to pick up points, and even if they do, it will be at the expense of the likes of Lincoln.I said we had a 10% chance before last night, I'd say that is being generous. I've gone through the predictor and just can't see how we claw ourselves above both Oxford and Lincoln. Pressure is a funny thing, we just have to go again at Carlisle and see who blinks first.
You're making the assumption we will win our reminding 3 games, just that alone would be close to 10/1!Looking at Oxford's games, there's no reason we can't be ahead of them with two wins from the last 2 games. They'll struggle to pick up points, and even if they do, it will be at the expense of the likes of Lincoln.
It's not over, and certainly better than 10/1.
I thought that was the Beees appreciation noise.I couldn't believe it when I heard that. 1-0 up and booing. Bizarre.
TBF it can be confusing very similar.I thought that was the Beees appreciation noise.
Agreed, perhaps pre-Christmas it made a difference. Our support at home over the last few games has been shite. No support at all. It's better away even though there hadn't been much to shout about.
Absolutely brilliant. If this is a promotion push it’s as far away from a rollercoaster or a “best trip”…
It’s more like mirror, signal, manoeuvre with numerous stops at the service station to drink from a flask we’ve brought ourselves to save money and regular toilet stop.
Nice . With Critchley looking over his shoulder to check everyone has their seatbelts on before setting off at a moderate speed, with Norburn asking ‘are we nearly there yet?’.One of lads said last night that we should be buzzing 3 points off a play off spot with 3 games to go and when you think about we should be…
However, it’s against a backdrop of boring and negative football built on structure and shape in and out of possession. We’ve been lucky in the end to the win the last two games 1-0.

That's beyond ridiculous. Yes, we need to score more goals but I saw a lot last night that I liked.Of course it's there. We had people booing round us at half time, when we were winning.

I experienced a real sense of deja-vu reading that, J_BPSs. Been there, got the t-shirt type stuff ...Nice . With Critchley looking over his shoulder to check everyone has their seatbelts on before setting off at a moderate speed, with Norburn asking ‘are we nearly there yet?’.
