Does anyone know if we are likely to get a full days play for our push for victory?
Presumably we will declare on our overnight score?

Agree should have had an hour/hour and a half at them last night they must have known what the forecast was for today. No play before lunch.
Looks like they batted too long.
I live in Old T and walked past the ground yesterday afternoon. I spoke to a steward and asked why they weren't playing, she said she didn't know. It had been dry for a couple of hours at least. Same this morning. One brief light shower. I don't really understand the protocol.Yesterday I posted early afternoon that I would be amazed if any play was possible that day and well I was totally wrong.
This morning I thought with the weather here they would be able to start on time.
Well I just checked to see the latest score and well “ no play before lunch”.
I should have remembered the great British weather can mean it can be sunny in Cheadle Hulme and Raining in Old Trafford which is no more than 7 to 8 miles ( 9 and a bit driving) away( in fact in hindsight it can be sunny here and pissing down a mile away ).
Fingers crossed we can still get a win and go above those pesky Yorkies*
* My eldest brother was born in Bridlington and his son in Sheffield and yet both spent many years living in our wonderful County but their Cricket ( and any other Y v L sport) allegiances are on the White Rose side( though both are staunch BFC supporters).I am Blackpool born so it’s always been the red rose even though I have lived outside of the county for coming up to 44 years. As you can therefore imagine there is some friendly() banter especially with my nephew who took great delight in posting the video of the 20 20 hat trick that scuppered are chances last week on our WhatsApp link.
Northants cannot catch us no matter the result today,if Glamorgan don’t win neither can they.As an aside if the weather holds for us i think we’ll win todayGet to 200 for the bonus point and then declare.
With Northants losing I think we are already through . . . we aren't gonna lose this so will get min. 12 points from this game (8 for draw, 3 bowling points and 1 batting point). We are already 13 points ahead of Northants so they would need to win and us lose to Yorkshire and get a massive swing in bonus points . . not gonna happen.
So it's us & Yorkshire through to Div. 1 and we carry through the points we gained against each other already as we don't play them in the new Div 1. In the home game we scored 501 in the first innings and won by an innings so will have a big advantage. Just need to win again next week.
Crawley gone England one day squad and a replacement is allowedI see Crawley did not open the batting so if injured, we only need 6 more wickets!
As regards the points system we will carry through half the points we scored against each county, and play the other four once each.Northants cannot catch us no matter the result today,if Glamorgan don’t win neither can they.As an aside if the weather holds for us i think we’ll win today
You can only presume the outfield.I live in Old T and walked past the ground yesterday afternoon. I spoke to a steward and asked why they weren't okaying, she said she didn't know. And they wonder why not many people watch cricket. Why finish at 6.05 when so much play has been lost?
