Imli was nice, however the chicken was a bit chewy one of the times.Indeed it is excellent as a takeaway as is the Imli. The problem with both, if you are eating in, they put the emphasis on getting the takeaways out before paying sit down diners. I stopped eating in at both of them for a considerable time because of this.
The Imli on one visit we were sat there sipping our drinks for an hour and watched carrier bag after carrier bag go out for delivery. The cheeky buggers asked if we'd like to "buy" another drink whilst we waited! That really pissed me off.
Gemma was the go to one for me for takeaways, they used to throw in free poppadoms, dips and bombay potatoes too. Probably don't anymore.
Ruchi could be ok at times.
Have had good ones from zest, spicy korma....
Gulshan used to do and still seem to do a massive portion, full tray just of chicken and onions, called chicken tikka main, then you go the sauce separately, its a huge portion.
