Out of 10 - How much are you looking forward to the season?

6 for me. Always want to compete for those top positions (bar the Prem) and sadly think we're in it to survive this season. Hope we make the most of the cups and use it as a building block and maybe surprise one or two and finish just outside the Top half?
 
Just a 5 from me. Battle to stay up/more poor performances than good/ goals hard to come by/only seeing 4 clubs with us in the relegation mix.

Fingers crossed all the above doesn't happen though.
 
I don't think we will be anywhere near as bad as some seem to think.
I'm looking forward to it as always, love going to Blackpool again. 10 from me.
 
I had a 9 twinge of excitement about going to the match tomorrow, on reading this thread. I’m incapable of getting all excited ages before anything, even events & holidays, when people ask ooh you must be excited about that, well no it’s in the back of my mind almost until the day.

I'm hoping our players can hit the ground running in MA'S system. I'm also a bit concerned about our RB problem, however short term it might be.

However poor some think the transfer window has been, We're still a stronger side than last seasons opener.

Couldn't give a toss about not signing Brannagan or Bishop, especially as neither seemed to want to be here.
 
I was certainly more nervous last season as we were stepping into the unknown. So looking forward to it but there's still a certain amount of concern about us being strong enough to make progress. Time will tell.

Not overly looking forward to the perceived relegation struggle ….. so a 6/10
 
9 for me. Can't wait for the season to start. Would have been a 10 if we had signed one or two more players.

0.5. can't get up for it right now after a summer of repeated disappointments which started with manager leaving and ended with last night's ridiculous situation. Hopefully will be up to the usual 9 by time I take my seat tomorrow! But I need a complete mental swing at moment.

I was a 10 when looking forward to traveling to Bristol City for first game last season. And remained a 10 all season. Need to get my Tangerine mojo back!
 
10 & I hope it's the same at Christmas.
I'm as excited & as emotional going to Bloomfield Road now, as I was when I was 7. Taking our 5 year old grandson makes it even more special.
We're proud that living in Cheshire he wears his tangerine shirt & says "urgh they're rubbish" when his school mates wear their Mancs / Scouser shirts 🍊 🧡

I probably will but tomorrow will be a faff as I have my youngest with me for only his second game and to be honest I'm extremely disappointed with what our current squad looks like

Do we even have a specialist right back who can play tomorrow?

I agree that taking a youngster is a faff - and it costs us a small fortune in Blackpool!
I too am very disappointed with the current situation, but it is what it is and the 11 selected will give their best.
I hope you and the little un will make it 🍊
 
Always optimistic until proved otherwise so 9 for me. Let’s hope Lewis, Dominic, Rhys and Theo are what we needed and Sonny, Rob and Jack step up.
 
5, and that's because football is back.

Can't see past us struggling, based on the poor end to last year, and not seeing much, if any, improvement since, be that management or squad recruitment.

It's gonna be a long season.
