Has Virtue been on our books since the 70's?Ekpiteta
Lavery
Connolly
Husband
Virtue
O'Donnell
Carey +1 will stay
Four loan players Dembele Rhodes Coulson Byers
I'd like Ekpiteta and Husband to stay and try to sign Coulson and Byers, and maybe Rhodes but fitness issues have to be taken into account.
74.Has Virtue been on our books since the 70's?
Feels like it.
He also said he’s the man to take the club forward, I think he’s in a minority of one with that opinion. Sorry that minority should be two, Sadler is of the same opinion. The way Critchley was talking after the game about the plans for next season it sounds like the club aren't too bothered about any of the out of contract players leaving
Was it not Tangerine Juice who sang that?As Orange Juice once said " Rip it up and start again "
As everyone seems to think 2 yard box Danny will move, would you fancy him as a first choice?O Donnell is decent backup and will not cost much in wages. He really enjoyed his moment in penalty shoot out against Bolton and seems to be very much a team player.
Having 2 very good keepers just causes friction.
Not sure on any of the others, some the ball is in their court, but none are essential
i think Husband is worth keeping. Agree about the restHappy for the one year on Carey to be exercised or extended and him stay, as for all the others I would offer Marv a take it or leave it deal and thank all the others for their service. Wouldn’t be too bothered about any of them if they left to be fair
If Grimmy moves on then we get another but O Donnell has never looked shakey in the few matches he has playedAs everyone seems to think 2 yard box Danny will move, would you fancy him as a first choice?
Give over If O Donnell is first choice keeper next season we get relegatedIf Grimmy moves on then we get another but O Donnell has never looked shakey in the few matches he has played
And stick him in nets.Hopefully the club will re-sign Connolly, with a nice pay rise to reward him for his loyalty and commitment!

That’s something to look forward tooDom Thompson will also be coming back from FGR.
Yeah Id keep him as back up. He looks decent tbf.O Donnell is decent backup and will not cost much in wages. He really enjoyed his moment in penalty shoot out against Bolton and seems to be very much a team player.

Why?Give over If O Donnell is first choice keeper next season we get relegated
Heard that Ekpiteta, Husband and Lavery had all turned down contract offers a while agoDefinitely only interested in keeping Ekpiteta and Husband. The rest are not up to standard and with thanks can go bye bye
..not to mention the young players that the Messiah Critchley has brought on with the skills he brought from Liverpool.I think Marv, Hubby, Virtue and Lavery will all choose to leave and we won't keep Connolly.
I think we will lose Grimshaw, Gabriel and Norburn to other clubs for a fee so that would leave us with a squad of 11 players including Thompson and Apter but excludes keepers. That would mean at least 10 new players to make the squad up, more because some will go out on loan so it's hardly been great recruitment over the past couple of years.
There's too much analytical, statistical bollocks and no heart or personality. There is no reason why you can't have both but we only have one and it's not very good either...not to mention the young players that the Messiah Critchley has brought on with the skills he brought from Liverpool.
Sadlers algorithm has well and truly been fecked
Absolutely Herts...didnt see Thommo drooling over an iPad when Ollie was Manager it was a mixture of Managerial nous and passion which our present incumbent has neither..There's too much analytical, statistical bollocks and no heart or personality. I thought it was the VHS!!!Absolutely Herts...didnt see Thommo drooling over an iPad when Ollie was Manager it was a mixture of Managerial nous and passion which our present incumbent has neither..
edit to add, although Ollie's missus was known to pick transfer targets on iPads
Is that a threat or a promise?Dom Thompson will also be coming back from FGR.
Nice of you to speak for the majority of the fan baseHe also said he’s the man to take the club forward, I think he’s in a minority of one with that opinion. Sorry that minority should be two, Sadler is of the same opinion.
No problem, only to happy to oblige.Nice of you to speak for the majority of the fan base
Disappointing if true. Not Lavery but the other two.Heard that Ekpiteta, Husband and Lavery had all turned down contract offers a while ago
Not let anyone down when he has had a chanceAs everyone seems to think 2 yard box Danny will move, would you fancy him as a first choice?
Then 8 months of disappointment.I love it when it gets into the back end of June and you’re getting a taste for the new season.
Speculation on players, then signings, then pre season.
Don't you think that leadership, heart and passion is as much down to the players as well? And that it would be easier if we had actually scored the chances we make and energise the crowd by doing so? Our quality, passing, defending and finishing on the pitch has been dire at times and sometimes brilliant at others. Our lack of consistency has been primarily down to not enough quality in the squad. There's too much analytical, statistical bollocks and no heart or personality. There is no reason why you can't have both but we only have one and it's not very good either.
Would love to know what statistics they were looking at when they paid all that money for Dom ThompsonThere's too much analytical, statistical bollocks and no heart or personality. There is no reason why you can't have both but we only have one and it's not very good either.
Agreed. Not let anyone down when he has had a chance
I don't think there's a lot of heart about the place full stop at the moment.Don't you think that leadership, heart and passion is as much down to the players as well? I'd say Ekpiteta and Husband can move along now - i can't put up with comedy defending anymore.Ekpiteta
Lavery
Connolly
Husband
Virtue
