Great performance yesterday but.........does anyone remember the last time Dale dribbled past his man despite all the step overs? His usual choice is a back pass. Not in the last few games - check it out !

Hasn’t got the pace or trickery to take anyone on. Painful to witness CJ for all his faults will at least try and beat his man. Also seems a bit tubby to me, think he’s doing too many weights. it would make miles more sense to play CJ on the left and Lyon’s/Gabriel the right

** hell, there's some harsh critics on here.

Dale had a really good game again. He's played well for the majority of his performances and I'd say there's an argument that without him, the wing backs thing doesn't work.

For a player who I wasn't sure had a future with us at all, I think he's done a grand job in learning a new role and nailing down a regular starting berth.

Can't be easy keeping a top LWB like Connolly out every week

Yes I'd have to agree with the OP, said similar myself.

Owen had a tidy game on Saturday. But personally I think he does have the quality to get past someone, so it was a shame to see him going back to Hub or Albie so much.

I watched it via a mirror! Swap them over At the end of the day, who would you pick as a wing back between Dale & Gabriel? I'm really surprised he hasn't picked Lyons over Dale, but Dale has done well in his new role to be fair.

I think Dale is more attack minded whereas Gabriel and Lyons more defensive. I'd probably pick Lyons at a push as he has the propensity to score goals which gives him the edge for me.

I have to agree with Tall Paul. On Saturday I commented several times to my mate about his reluctance to take the full back on . Its either a pass back or he cuts inside. He needs to learn some more tricks. He has good footwork and quick feet.
