Think a few championship teams will be queuing up for the likes of Simms/Ballard next season.
Let’s just hope were one of them.
Let’s just hope were one of them.
But if we had bought on Thorniley for Husband it would have changed history si mi amigo?Hardly makes me Nostradamus but I did say !
Had never played senior football. Never played in front of a crowd. Was half the player he is now. Don't think so.I think Everton made him and kindly lent him to us, albeit we have helped his development
And happy birthday to your daughterAlthough trying to be happily distracted by my daughter's 16th birthday, the nerves kicked in quite early.
I thought, as the Oxford fans have written above, we were just better than them tonight and won all the important battles.
So pleased to see us take more chances than we missed and I'm still surprised at watching a defensively solid Blackpool where we don't really like we are going to concede.
But It's still only half time; I want a repeat and to go into the final with another clean sheet and win.
All In all, that's as professional a play off semi final first leg as you'll see.
On to Friday.
Come on Blackpool!
I think they hadn’t appreciated how good we are because we took our time to bed in.A very late entry to magnanimous comment of the season award.
Can someone forward to Robinson please.
All the best to Eastbourne mate, I do hope you get a proper season next year!Commitment, organisation, belief, confidence, decisive strikes. That is one really good side you have, and you are one special club. We are in awe of you down here, as a club and as people. Thanks for letting us follow your journey. UTMP
And may continue to do so.I think Everton made him and kindly lent him to us, albeit we have helped his development

I know a lass who’s shagged Madine. Just a little fact for you.
Aye mate because it’s not like we’ve taken 6 points off Oxford and Blackpool have taken 6 off us. f***ing hell :lol:Summerbee said:
So far, so good. I'm far more confident of playing Blackpool in the final than I am of Oxford.
Ellis is very grounded, his touch was unreal tonight. Compare that to 8-10 weeks ago, he's improved massively.
We've probably just made Everton a 3-4 million pound player there.
says a man that is desperately trying to avoid the sack after the next game!Karl Robinson to the BBC. "I think, after that we were by far the better team."
Look Karl, I ain't no football manager but you weren't, honest. Our defence was assured and we picked you off on the counter.
If we go up, I think it will be us. And if so, get your bets on for another promotion...Think a few championship teams will be queuing up for the likes of Simms/Ballard next season.

Steady, we thought that about Bradford in 96, I'm taking nothing for granted until we’re over the line! It's done, we're in the final, on a totally different planet to Oxford, it could get embarrassing for them at Bloomfield.
Him and Ballard - will hold Critch in good steadHe's massively improved since he arrived here.
That was 2-0, we were a bloody nervous team because we'd bottled it for weeks thanks to the manager and we had a knobhead as a keeper.Steady, we thought that about Bradford in 96, I'm taking nothing for granted until we’re over the line!
Oxford fans were like a library, completely failed to use their home advantage. Our players are gonna be blown away when they finally find out what it’s like to play in front of Pool fans in the playoffs! Cannot wait

Yeah, guess I'm just basing it off of right now and scoring goals in league 1.He's massively improved since he arrived here.
But you're completely wrong about the valuation. Up and coming young goalscorers with EPL clubs are nearer to £20m to £30m.
If he plays like he did tonight for Everton his value will rocket.

Will people STOP using the 'B' wordSteady, we thought that about Bradford in 96, I'm taking nothing for granted until we’re over the line!
Karl Bobbinson - the gift that keeps on giving Gabbing!
try hesgoal for Friday never fails.Day pass on Now TV. Brill. Except for freezing for the last 5 mins. Bring back iFollow I say.
I think his very proud mum n dad and the young man himself had a fair bit to do with how he's turned outI think Everton made him and kindly lent him to us, albeit we have helped his development
I'm an exile, bought the game but it was audio only, did you get picture?iFollow worked for us exiles, if you have major problems try using a VPN and iFollow on Friday
For everyone lucky enough to have a Friday ticket - sing your hearts out and show Sky what Seasiders can do!
Great performance, we couldn’t hve wished for more?
Disagree in part. NC has really brought him on. Very inconsistent when he first arrived here but now looks a Prem player.I think Everton made him and kindly lent him to us, albeit we have helped his development
What an atmosphere in there last night.Been out in Bierkeller and lost my voice from all the chanting. What a welcome problem to have!
Kept having to pinch myself that we'd just won 0 - 3 in the first leg of the play-offs. Absolutely unbelievable and testament to the quality in this side, onto Friday. Up the MIGHTY POOL!
...said the Barcelona trainer before the return leg at Anfield. We’ve not conceded a goal in 8 hours so unlikely to concede 3 in 90 minutes!
Yeah man, I have a season pass maybe it’s something to do with that? @seasideone had it tooI'm an exile, bought the game but it was audio only, did you get picture?
I appreciate exuberance Atletico but let's just get through this season first. If we go up, I think it will be us. And if so, get your bets on for another promotion...
Perhaps they would have if it weren't for the fact they've not been for about a year.Every credit to the Oxford fans for not leaving en masse at 0-3.
Give that man a ceegar!0-3 pool game over, we will play on the break a rip them a new one. UTMP
Ha ha ha, care for some humble pie?Quality delivery from Embleton. Fair play
Another portion of humble!Yates passing has been dreadful.
They know who we are now!

Blackpool’s players booed onto the pitch accompanied by chants of “who are ya?” You love to see it.
