1) the case is on the magistrates court list so it’s not a civil case
2) looking at CourtServe which is the online list he has a case number but no URN which to me indicates it’s ‘quasi criminal’ not a police prosecution.
3) Wednesday list includes private matters which normally means council prosecutions, rspca, school attendance, probation breaches
4) based on the above my best guess is it’s something boring and mundane like non payment of council tax or business rates
