I was not comparing, nor being ridiculous.
My point was simply that cricket is great in all forms.
Not sure you how you say T20 'wins that argument'
 
3rd T20.

England start ok but Malan (10 from 13 = garbage) really doesn't score quickly enough in T20.

Nice to see a number of England supporters in the crowd that are of Pakistan descent. Traditionally the Pakistani communities have always supported Pakistan. Nice to see that tide turning and second and third generations now supporting England.

Just don’t know why Malan is there time and time again he fails, if he’s anywhere near the World Cup squad it’s a joke.

Good partnership from these 2 look like 2 great additions to the squad. 👍

Always need a boo boy on AVFTT - I'm guessing you know it all cricket types slagging Malan are the same ones saying Bairstow shouldn't be anywhere near the Test/one day/t20 squads before the summer.

Bairstow shouldn't be near the test team . He's a slogger who does best in a no win situation. He consistently gets dropped and brought back because there is little choice. He's now in for a year, then he'll be out again.

Every credit to Duckett and Brook. Both have to be seriously in consideration to start the WC. Brook looks nailed on.

Great bowling tonight too. I really find this England team entertaining. I love how when a wicket falls you aren't losing 3 overs for the new man to get in - it's just wham bam from the off and they can trust their own talent.

Yes Pakistan can win a game or two but only if their openers perform. They are weak after that. This England team will always win far more games than it will ever lose with this gung ho attitude to the game. It's a joy to behold
 
Comfortable victory for England makes up for the debacle last night from our bowlers being knocked out of the ground.
Topley over Willey any day of the week. 👍

Sorry Malan is no longer good enough for England in white ball cricket.

We have too much young talent to be wasting a top order slot with Malan.
 
I never rated Duckett but the way he has played spin has been a revelation.

Also fair play to Wood, to come back after all those injuries and to bowl 97mph takes some doing.

What I can't get my head around is Malan is far more suited to test cricket than white ball cricket yet he gets played in T20's, his strike rate is nowhere near good enough for the shorter version of the game yet he has all the attributes you want in a Test player.

We have lots of talented youngsters available for the T20 team and last night you saw what the likes of Brook and Jacks can do and there are a few others who are also in contention.

Purists moan about T20 cricket but you have to say it's exciting stuff to watch.

I love both forms and agree about Malan . . . I think he's been given too long in the white ball team but unfairly treated at test level.

As well as the likes of Brook, Duckett & Jacks we also have destructive players like Smeed, Banton, Kohler Cadmore and more waiting in the wings.

Yes Lether, Brook, Jacks and Smeed are the youngsters I like, Smeed and Jacks are white ball specialists who are fearless at the crease.

I always think it's criminal for a team to be only 2 down going into the last 5 and not have a really good platform. They should be pushing harder and if they lose 1 or 2, then they've still got backup.

That said it's only pretend cricket and Pak will win anyway.

So here we go the 6th game just about to start lose this one and it’s all over for England.
Surely our batters can’t do any worse than in the last two games where they were a total shambles.
2 changes for England who won the toss and have elected to bowl.
 
A must win game if we want to save the series. With Rizwan out and winning the toss, we should have a decent chance. 🤞🏼

Decent score this England have failed to chase down much less in the last 2 games.
 
The aerial shot above the cricket ground reveals 2 other sport stadiums. All 3 are in a very close space. Does anyone know what the other 2 are?
