Pathetic spoilt little brats

Sycophants here lack any self respect.

The club takes cash for season tickets in multithousands - and signs mediocrity.

This resembles domestic abuse.
Yeah just like domestic abuse

Ridiculous assertion. Just more bs coming from you as usual

Award winning journalists wouldn’t write such rubbish

If you think this site is bad then look at the relevant Facebook BFC groups.
Nothing but toxic from some.
Apter on a short loan at Tranmere and many thinking we have released him on a free transfer!

Yes some of the posts on here have been bordering on the schizophrenic.

I even read one poster, who four weeks ago was telling anyone that would listen that we’d easily win the league, yesterday announce that if we didn’t sign four players last night it would be a very, very long season indeed.

It really is laughable.

This forum represents about 2% of the fan base. A faceless forum, don’t let it bother you.
As it happens, I’m not particularly happy we haven’t got reinforcements, but the reaction to Apter going on loan, is frankly comical.
This forum membership might be a small percentage of the fanbase, but you’re deluded if you think the vast majority of fans are happy & content with the situation, on and off field. It’s the happy clappers that are the tiny minority and content to just have a game to watch. Sadly as they were under the O’s.

We’ll see how happy fans are when 10k home fans turns into 6k or 7k.

And would putting Dobbie in charge definitely be better than a man who's been entrusted with developing players at Liverpool, got promotion from League One at the first time of asking and comfortably kept us in an incredibly strong Championship when relegation favourites?
nothing about his time at villa and qpr? just for balance…..

I put it down to attention seekers.

Lots of em on this thread :)

agree. Some peoples comfort zone is for us to be in L1.

Like some abused partners, you could walk away just any time - but don't.

Your masochistic lot offer Sadler and Critchley a supineccaptive audience.

The club's unaccountable chiefs vets questions before talks with supporters.

But the fans refuse to judge transfer outcomes before season ticket purchase.

Like buying a car without a test run.

Such people remain addicts who cannot shun the product, no matter how bad.

I’d happily shun your mentally abusive messages Paulco. It’s like reading comments from a self acclaimed journalist without checking his credentials.

Typical OP by small club syndrome supporter same as last season, disagreed with anything same reply.
Haha so wide of the mark. I want us to be successful but I don't buy into this disposable economy. We have invested and have players who can hold their own and more at this level.

Read on one thread someone dismissing the views on here because they said it was only 2% of Blackpool fans.
Two things - I'd say it's a good 25-30% of Blackpool fans and the other is that what I've been reading on X, Facebook and Insta today has been 100 times worse!

Being a football fan isn’t easy sometimes.

Yes it’s true many of us are addicted .

There are worse addictions .

Just my perception, but his failures last season and his reluctance to strengthen our squad this season indicates he's keen for us to remain a first division team.

I’d say he was close to comfort at the end of that first Championship season.

The team was mid table. Many of the younger players were flourishing and would offer chances to sell them for good money (Yates would have gone for more towards £10m if we’d have stayed up) and then buy again players from Div 1

Appleton appointment moved us to a totally different formation, massive loan reliance and too much player churn. I think we are now back at square 1

At the end of the fist championship season or start of the second he sold our star asset and didn't replace him I think that would have happened even if Critchley had stayed.
That to me isn't the action of a man keen to stay in the Championship.

Not really. over 8 hours without a goal, a side weakened by selling players and not replacing them, and another match at home against Wigan tomorrow where in all probability we don't score again. The club have sold Yates for 2.5 million yet Bristol Rovers can sign what would have been more than an adequate replacement in Clark Harris for 800k. We get a has been from Huddersfield on a season long loan. Doesn't cut it for many fans no matter what you might be saying. Sadler in the same position Oyston was in 5 years ago, that is the chairman of a mid table league one club, with no training ground no new east stand and a team worth peanuts. The only difference is he has a moretti lounge. He can go for me and sell the club to someone who wont keep firing off excuses. Pilley might be in prison but he has put the money in to poolfoot farm, and invested in players. All we have is a trail of failed appointments, poor player signings, a cancelled training complex and a team of league 2 at best players now.
Joseph and Rhodes will come good.

Many of the summer’s signings look more than half decent. Give them a chance.

Clarke Harris is probably on a packet and maybe wanted to go Bristol.

Pilley is a convicted fraudster. The last thing we need at BR is money laundering.

Get real - it’s not fantasy football.

Can you really claim these outweigh the positive achievements in his career given that he was only assistant at Aston Villa and it's way above this level, and he was only at QPR five minutes and Gareth Ainsworth who worked wonders at Wycombe hasn't done any better?

Social media is a bit pish really, fans have always moaned but couldn’t vent their frustrations online like we can now.

Wouldn’t be the end of the world if it was all shut down.
Would be ** amazing if it was all shut down along with whole www, it’s all making this planet a shitter place

The comments on this board show people for what they are, there are some good posters, some absolute bellends and many with ability to be both.

During a game it can get quite emotional which is fair enough but when it comes to people slagging others off because they have a different opinion, that’s tedious.

I also don’t understand why anyone would use the ignore option on anyone else, head in sand springs to mind.

Tbh I only joined AVFTT because I was an exile as
a way of keeping up with what’s going on, I drop in and out of it as I see fit but overall it’s still reasonably entertaining.

Gold medal for entertainment.🥇

What a pathetic response to concern.

Many who fans bought season tickets in 2022 and this year have woken up.

Blackpool, a once famous and great club, has reverted to small-minded derision.
who are ya!!!
who are ya!!!
who are ya!!!

People have paid £300 to watch Connolly at left wing back. Cut them some slack.
My goodness you really are a fun guy😂
At that price you must be a bit like me “ somewhat geriatric” or a Victor Meldrew clone…..but I am trying hard not to be😂

I don't need to go to have an opinion. My points are valid and many who actually get to go agree.
So you start a post bitching about fellow fans for having an opinion

I suppose its easy to slag people you dont know off when you live thousands of miles away

If I'm not mistaken the o/p'er lives down under and I reckon it's quite easy to be less involved than most fans who live on the clubs doorstep and fans who clearly care more about the club and team than he does. Awful o/p. These "spoilt little brats" will contribute financially and emotionally far more than he now ever will.

Also very easy to do when you are miles away, have zero connection to the team and don’t spend your hard earned £££ travelling up and down the country.

Incredible really 😆

So Bristol Rovers didn't sign Johnson Clark Harris and the has been scored on his home debut, while Pilley has sacked his manager for getting one point from six games. We're four points off top spot and go into the break on a high with players due back to add to the depth.

Care to revise your ponderings/rants?

I contribute financially I pay for a season ticket and merch. Do one 20s

Agree completely.

There might be a few on here looking back at their hasty posts with regret come January.

We beat Wigan who failed to deal with Hamilton, his strengths are as obvious as his weaknesses yet they failed to spot this.
The same applies to us, Critchley kept picking Hamilton even in matches where he was unlikely to be effective as a wing back and also Connolly even more unlikely to be effective in that position.
So we shouldn’t get too carried away after one defeat or one victory. The most important man at any club is the head coach so let's look at this in November and hopefully we all agree that Critchley is doing a good job.
