Has apparently failed a drugs test, immensely talented but seems to always have an attitude problem. Ferguson got rid of him for that exact reason, I dread to think how much he's cost Man Utd over the years for very little return. But when he wanted to be he was world class....

A total waste of money time and again.

It's a toss up between him and Ballotelli for the biggest waste of talent. Georgie Best in third place.

Was reading the post earlier about Troy Deeney dropping down the leagues, reckon Pogba could have done a job for us but we’ve got too many midfielders

Isn't he another of these players like Anelka who has family as his agent?

Just always seems to have a massive chip on his shoulder.

Im not a huge Pogba fan but to be fair to him, I read an interview he did last year and his family is a crap show. They've stole from him, his brother sold his info to a gang to rob his home in France, used his image rights without his permission for some seriously dodgy stuff in Africa, physically attacked him and made his life away from football an absolute nightmare. If he'd had a supportive family that didn't use him for anything they could get, then he might have been able to just concentrate on football. Someone said in a comment on here that Billy Ayres once talked about about how footballers are people away from the sport and there's a whole host of things that can knock a player off his game. Having all this going on in the background is bound to affect anyone in any walk of life, let alone a guy that gets abuse from his own fans just for changing his hair style.

When it comes to Pogba I think that 2 things are true.
1. He has a serious ego and that has negatively impacted his career.
2. He's had friends and family that have treated him horrendously, so his home life has been terrible for large periods of his career which will have negatively impacted his career.
Even with both these factors, he's still had a career that most footballers could only dream of.

saw Ballotelli play for Brescia against Hellas Verona a few years ago and he was head and shoulders above anyone on the pitch that day

And yet look how much money he's made for being a flake? Biggest mardy arse, waste of space to me is Lukaku with a close runner up being Pepe at Arsenal. The financial wastage in football couldn't be replicated in the world outside of sports.
