Pausing sky sports....difficulties

I wish it was a piece of pi55, I’ve been trying throughout today but constantly keeps saying “we cannot process this at this time”
 
Pip. Have you downloaded "My Sky" app?
That was how I did it. Just about a 1 minute delay this morning.
 
I clicked on the covid msg on the app which then sends me to sky online and it all looked simple to click on the pause option but just won’t let me advance it. I’ve even tried on my tv I’ll try again tomorrow. Cheers anyhow
 
Did mine about an hour ago no probs. Dont keep clicking things as it refreshes itself through the process as server space appears. Took about 3 minutes
 
Is it available on virgin does anyone know as I’ve got Sky & BT Sports that aren’t being used at the moment?
 
Just stopped my sky sports yesterday on line, really easy took a couple of minutes to load and then all done, have just checked my account on the tv and yes it’s all gone through. Recommend you all do it unless you like watching the replays of older sports😭
 
still can't do it with Virgin and impossible to get through and can't do it online. Only talk to a bot on line.
Find it scandalous that they've issued no statement on line specifically about it.
 
I can also report that I did it yesterday on Sky with no probs. and you do continue to receive whatever programmes are still on foc.
 
Just seen an email from Virgin - they're understaffed due to self-isolating etc. and they are "prioritising calls for vulnerable customers" - how that's done I've no idea!

However, they should be following SKY's lead and give the option to pause online.

Personally was lucky enough to call Virgin last week once the footy was suspended and removed Sports from my package albeit with a 30 day grace period.

You'd like to think that it should be automatic.
 
Just re-checked on Virgin website and they've now set up the pause facility.
Took their time though.
