Peterborough at home

Better at home than in the final

Let’s pack the place out and get behind the team. I’d actually consider putting the ticket prices down again for this. They won’t bring many mid week so need to use our home advantage 🍊🍊

Obviously being at home is a big advantage but it's going to be odd playing them away on the Saturday in the league, then again on Tuesday in the cup. The following Saturday sees us take on Bolton at home, whereas they have their derby game away at Cambridge. It's a key period for both clubs and squad depth will play a big part. Ideally we beat Posh and meet Bradford, who would take big numbers, and hammer them in the final. 😂

Bradford would indeed take big numbers to Wemberleeeeeee- Blackpool on the other hand I think would struggle to take 20k

I think Peterboro might field a strong side seeing as the winner goes to Wembley.
I know we made some changes but Bolton made 8 changes the other night.

They are light years ahead of us so wanted to avoid Peterborough. At least at home.

As posted on another thread...

We're in better form than the last game, a better team, won't be playing people like Oakley-booth, no Thompson. We had no Joseph, who is now fully fit and growing each game. Despite all that we had them rocking with 10 men and only gave the game away with a mistake.

Not sure what some of their 2nd string who are likely to feature looks like, but ours is pretty handy.

One more thing I noticed from looking back is we played Kouassi and Rhodes up top.

Whilst they have their uses, fast pressing isn't really one of them, given the lack of pace and mobility compared to say Lavery and Joseph. Who with CJ and Coulson maybe, would give Peterborough far less time on the ball at the back than the last league game.

We also didn't play Dembele.

Things didn't go for us and we weren't the team we are now, despite that the 10 men deserved a point really.
