Peterborough v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 17.02.24

I think we'll scab a win tomorrow and go either way on Tues..

Whatever the result, Critch will stand with his arms folded watching half the team run around out of position, send the subs to warm up in the 68th minute, and ultimately blame the ref/pitch/defense/team bus/kit man/ball boy if it all goes tits up..
just tried to do an accy on that on bet365 - turned me down as "it doesn't present a fair risk to the bookmaker"

3-5-2 will not cut it, especially if we tippy-tap the ball around the back four. They were all over us at home with our 3-5-2 until the sending off when we had 'a shiit or bust' attitude getting it back from 3-0 to 3-2 down before running out of steam and conceding a 4th near the end with a breakaway.

For the first time ever I've predicted a Pool defeat, now combine that with the fact we tend to play better against top opposion I've won us 3 points single handedly, thank me later.
Me too, the people can buy us pints at the Barnsley game, there’s a good chance I’ll be at that one 💪

Dean Whitestone is the ref who's primarily a Championship official. He did have 9 yellows and a red in the Milwall vs Norwich game on 29 Dec.

Well I’m on record as saying we will win today and I still have our Blackpool optimism but it will be in spite of not because of our plonker of a manager. So all of a sudden our players will become competent in a 3-5-2? If we win today I think it will be Byers that makes the difference.
