Play off finals

So we now know the six teams involved in the 3 finals, who would you like to see go up?

Coventry in championship if only for the fact that I really dislike Luton and that ground should not host top flight football.

Barnsley in league one simply to piss the massive off some more.

Carlisle for Simmo.

Thoughts?

Like us, they'll have to bring their ground up to PL standard (mainly for the media & TV).
Those overpaid PL players & their egotistical managers won't like playing at Luton or Burnley 🤣
  • Luton - for Rob Edwards & they're a club about the same size as Pool.
  • Barnsley just to quieten the gobby 'massive' (although I do like Barry Bannan).
  • Stocky, as Edgeley Park is 5 minutes from Seasider daughters house & we've seen some good games there.

Theyre used to playing at Burnley. Their stadium has been improved a fair bit during the Dyche years.
 
Coventry the only team ranked lower to make the finals.

Think it will be Luton, Barnsley and Carlisle. All three choices made without any real conviction.
 
I’m not really bothered either way about any of them but at a push would go for:
Luton, Barnsley & Carlisle. Luton & Carlisle purely because I like their exPool managers and Barnsley because it will be funny to see the self proclaimed ‘Massive’ prolong their stay as an ‘established’ league 1 club. However, I can see the benefit to us of getting rid of Sheff W from the league.
 
I'll say
Luton, seeing as Coventry shouldn't even be in the playoffs
Sheff Massive - after that semi win they won't lose the final
Hopefully Carlisle for Simmo

But Coventry are😉
Just because Massive won the semi doesn't mean they'll win the final
Sentiment in football means nothing
 
Coventry, Barnsley (so I can go to Hillsborough as I have not been yet) and Carlisle (but I hop Stockport win if it means we get Simpson as our new boss) 😀
 
Coventry : only because Luton's ground isn't fit for grazing sheep.
Barnsley: yet another season in the lower league's for the Massive.
Carlisle: For Simmo

Coventry because they've had a shit few years, Sheff Wed as they were the strongest team in League One and Stockport because of location.
 
Coventry because I hate Luton and their dog shit alley
Sheff Wed as I feel they are stronger than Barnsley and more of a threat next season
Carlisle as Stockport have a bit more momentum and could be a threat next season

That's who I think will win their play-offs. I don't have a reason to like or dislike... ok maybe Luton for that dive to cheat a penalty in the play-offs. Pool still went through, though (someone called the karma police)
