Lump onJust had a quick search and found the following
Sunderland 13/8
Blackpool 11/4
Lincoln 3/1
Pompey 9/2
Oxford 22/1
Charlton 25/1
cannot understand how we are so much bigger a price than a team we have beaten twice already this season.

* Well that was what the bookie told me
It's called betting, the more people who bet on something or the more money bet on something then the price comes down. Like when everyone thinks England are going to win the world cup.Just had a quick search and found the following

Far too much common sense for here.Sunderland are the favourites for me.
I’m really not sure how to view those two games we played against Sunderland. Yes we beat them twice, but I can’t say that we outplayed them in any way.
I’d say overall they had the better of us at the Stadium of Light and thought it was pretty even at our place. We scored a very lucky goal on the break and how McGeady’s effort that hit the post didn’t go in still baffles me now. Any game where your goalkeeper is the outstanding player on the pitch suggests that you didn’t deserve to win and Maxwell’s performance at Sunderland was the best goalkeeping Blackpool performance in my lifetime.
Sunderland also have the outstanding playmaker and arguably the best striker in the league. Totally get them being favourites.
Also to add that the bookies will see Embleton as one of our key players and will know he wouldn’t be able to play against his parent club.

Big population with a huge fan-base. A bookie has to massage the egos of his largest potential customer base. The fact we’ve took 6 points off Sunderland without playing to the standard we know we can should be taken as a positive, anyways they’ve won one game in 8 not sure what this fascination with them is to be honest.
I viewed the 2 games against Sunderland as played 2, won 2, goals for 2, goals against 0, points 6Sunderland are the favourites for me.

It really is on no way down to him, I wouldn't sign himAlso. Embleton is a very important member of our squad. Lost 3 in 20 odd games since he rocked up. Basically when he signed we went on the run that got us in the play offs. Not saying it’s all down to him, just think not having him in our squad makes us weaker.
I have both praised and lambasted Blackpool throughout this season. My word take them tangerine tinted specs off
I was just trying to give reasons why Sunderland are the favourites for the play offs with the bookies. Not being negative towards us in any way.
1. Never once said we deserved to lose.
2. They’ve got the top goal scorer in the play offs.
3. They’ve got the best player in league one.
I agree with your sentiments about the games.Sunderland are the favourites for me.

Teams draw when they have the same score Sunderland failed to score on both occasions. Happy to helpThere’s a thing in football called a draw. They tend to happen in football when teams score the same amount of goals.
I haven’t mentioned the other play off sides or that Sunderland would take us to the clean, just given reasons why Sunderland are rightly favourites.
I’ve not once said we’ve no chance. Favourites often don’t win in football, just looking from the bookies point of view.
Biggest budget. Biggest goal difference. Top goal scorer in play offs. Aiden McGeady.
Bookies won’t be taking into account those two games because they mean very little. Both squads will be in very different places and both will be well rested.
As it happens, I’d actually fancy us against them. More so at Wembley than over 2 legs.
I get it, you think we’re better than Sunderland, Hull and Peterborough. Just because we beat them in one off games. If you phone up the bookies I’m sure they’ll give you the Sunderland price for us to go up.
Just like Rochdale, Shrewsbury and Bristol Rovers are better than us.

That's all well and good, but for 180 minutes Wyke was capably marshalled by our centre halves while McGeady was utterly frustrated by being unable to get away from Ollie Turton. My word take them tangerine tinted specs off

Point 3 is wrong We have ,in fact the best 2 .Mr Yates and Mr Maxwell. Their best player would need oxygen after 30 mins on a hot Wembley pitchMy word take them tangerine tinted specs off

Not much equity at the moment with only £35k traded in a multi million pound market...think we will setlle around 3.85 to 3.95...probably 11/4 in bookies terms if you shop aroundFor anybody who's bothered we are closer to Sunderland in the betting on Betfair.
