Pretty much every player has produced but Big Marv just shades it based on consistency. Honorable mentions to Keogh, Wintle, Lavery and Bowler who have all been excellent also.

Ekpiteta for me, improved enormously from when he first arrived. Granted Keogh has definitely helped him. Had Lavery not got injured I wouldn't be surprised if he was sat on about 12 goals by now.

He got 5 and he's missed 4 games. Would he gave got 7 goals in those 4?!

I've said in previous threads that Marv has been our most improved player since he arrived, and also my favourite player. But to directly answer the o/p about the first third of the season, I think Keogh's experience has been key to our excellent recovery after the first few games. RK for me.

Your obviously only counting the league goals he's scored. think he's on 8 in all competitions, so another 4 goals in 4 games wouldn't be insurmountable ? or maybe you don't think he's capable. I do. OPINIONS voyeur.

I voted Kesh, though very hard decision with so many playing outstanding. Wasn't a fan of Keogh start of the season but he's been excellent like alot have said, but as a team we've been brilliant.

I think give Demi a few more games and he will be flying aswel. All players give everything when they get their chance - makes it hard to single one out!

Ok, I was thinking about league goals.

Very close between Big Marv and Keogh but I picked Ekpiteta as RK was average at the start of the season whilst ME has been brilliant since he came in the side.

The whole squad have done amazingly well - I voted for Keogh, on the basis that in the early season, a lot of fans slated him, but instead of conceding defeat, he showed real grit, has put in consistently good performances, guided big Marv and showed fantastic leadership especially while Max has been injured.

I went for Keshi cos he has stepped up so well after being injured most of last season and has taken the bill by the horns and ridden it like a rodeo rider in a circus. Big grin 9n his face the whole time, not afraid to take in whoever we come up against. Big character in the team.

I could easily have voted for Marv or Keogh though. And Lavery only scuppered by his injury. Maxwell too. Not sure why Hubby and Garbs are left out, both been great imo.

Its a tough one this as they have all been brilliant but have for Keogh on the basis he recovered very well from a shite start. I expect to see Carey in the vote next time round!

I went for Shayne because bar his injury I think he would be the second-highest scorer in the league by now.

Voted for Marv, been very good since getting back in, and I think he’s helped Keogh, in a proper CH pairing.

I may have voted for Wintle had he been on the list. Ultra consistent with different partners, does his job well in the key area of the pitch for us.

Keogh, he's the one that holds the defense together, and has helped improve Marv.
Edit to add, Husband has also impressed this season and the latter half of last. Has really matured, plays with the same passion but hasn't looked a liability or to get sent off.

So difficult to choose. I went for Keshi because of the contribution he's been making to ensuring very close games fall our way. But can see why the top two choices are Marv and Keogh.

Keogh has really surprised me. I wrote him off early doors because of his age, and because of the pacey attackers in this division that he would face. However he’s proving me wrong so far which I’m extremely pleased about!

I know he's been injured but I've gone Lavery as I think he has been the catalyst for how we have shaped ourselves.

To single one out would be a disservice to the others and I include squad players who've come in and covered admirably
Again, a testament to our coaching and scouting staff

I’ve gone with Wintle, not put a foot wrong really.

All those listed well in with a shout. The same could be said for last season which shows how strong our squads have been.

As said above you could pick virtually anyone who`s a first teamer which reflects not only what a real team we are but also our managers ability to find good players and then crucially get the absolute maximum from them that they are capable of .So I know he doesn`t qualify but Neil Critchley for me,otherwise as goal scorers are the most precious commodity in any team i`d go for Shayne Lavery.

Still don't understand why husband isn't on the list. As Mitch Cook said on the podcast last night, we are an unstoppable force with Hubby in the side. Keep him fit and we'll go up as Champions.

I’ve just watched that podcast. When you consider PPGWJHPLB he’s definitely a contender 😎

It says a lot when 9 players have received votes from the fan base, and as Voy says you could easily consider Husband as well.

Yep, agreed.Lavery is going to score a lot of goals for us.

For me, Lavery or Keshi.

I think they've all been superb and I could choose just about any of them.

Kesh and Lavery have really influenced games on their own by force of will and trying stuff that seems impossible. I don't think I've ever seen a more annoying, aggressive striker with the pace that Lavery has got. He's like Dickov on speed.

So, I'll go Lavery, also because from where he came from to where he is now, he's coped astonishingly well and most of the other were established players in the English pro leagues, where as he wasn't.

Marv, Uncle Richard, Wintle, Gabriel, Yates, all deserve to be on the list. Maxi, I just take for granted and whilst Bowler has been amazing in some games, he's not perhaps produced a level that compares with Anderson's impact.

Wintle. He has brought relaxed efficiency to the centre of midfield. Happy to receive the ball and rarely gives it away.
There are many contenders and some of them are more eye catching but that is part of the appeal of Wintle he will be more noticed when he isn't playing.
