Player swop with Huddersfield?

its a bit like swapping footy cards. no seriously it would be ideal but probably just another one from planet rumour. is the guy on bbc lancs behind this. the scots football reporter.

Unless Hudders offer a lot more money or he's not happy with his position as 2nd choice behind Norburn or doesn't like Norburn (or someone else) I can't see this making any sense? He's been in his best form for a long time/ever and we could very likely be playing at the same level in the next 4 months or so. Quite possibly we could be at a higher level. The reverse happened when Barnsley let him go, we went up, they went down.
 
Seems to make a lot of sense swap wise. Dougall and Rhodes both wanting a change and being out of contract in the summer, pretty similar commute for Kenny now he’s based in Manchester and Kenny stopped playing for us around the time you’d have expected us and Huddersfield to have been in dialogue over Rhodes loan and what is likely to occur in January.

It also suits us as Rhodes is crucial to us upfront, whereas we have plenty of options in CM in Carey, Morgan etc.

I’d be sad to see Kenny go, he’s been a great servant for us but he gets a chance again in a higher division he’s already proved himself thoroughly capable at and we get Jordan Rhodes.

Win, win, win for all concerned.

Sounds like nonsense to me and would be a pretty crap deal IMO unless Kenny was dead set on it, which you'd think unlikely. Whatever you think dougall is worth with 6 months to go on his contract (100k tops??), double that and pay it cash for Rhodes and keep our best midfielder into the bargain (IMO our most important player).

The OP writes as though Kenny has just moved to Manc. He’s lived in the centre of Manc with Ekpiteta for some time now.
 
Sounds like made up bollox to me. I'm more inclined to think he's gonna bugger off back to New Zealand and if that turned out to be the case, then good luck to the lad and it's tough shit for us. No rumours of it, just a thought.
