A minute's silence was observed impeccably - until a few Preston neanderthals started gobbing off at the Pool fans.
Which we followed (after the minute's silence) with a furious chant of "You've got no respect".
It's because of numbnuts like them that commemorations now have to have a minute's applause instead.

I've also got the VHS of this game and wouldnt portray all Blackpool fans as snow white,you can clearly hear racist taunts coming from our end . It was an incredibly entertaining game btw, Super Andy Watson.

Don't remember masses about the game. I drove and we went in the Phantom Whinger pre match. Snow in the air as I recall. Town end.

I remember Super Andy Watson scoring a looping header and the Town End going mental...I think it was that game that got me hooked on Pool

Remember it well, was 9 years old. Nearly got crushed at the front when Blackpool scored and they had to open the gates at the front as we spilt through them. Plastic pitch, snow coming down and Andy Watson with a cheeky lobbed header
