Envy does not give you a good look.

Prestonites who relished the Seasiders' drop also discredit themselves.

Just hope Pool somehow return to the second tier, despite transfer parsimony.

If PNE restore their top flight status, that must rouse Sadler to match them.
'... despite transfer parsimony'.

Do excuse my ignorance, paulco, but what part have root vegetables got to play in all this malarkey?

.. the Titanic .. cheered and applauded at the start but will eventually hit the bottom!

There was some guy called Brad Potts playing some nice through balls on Saturday, surely can’t be the same guy that some said was slow, lazy and not good enough for League 1 a few years ago?

COVID...Only people who cared, were OAP's, but most people didn't actually give a shit and everyone was very happy when it finally disappeared.

You were we're doing so well until that last apostrophe.
For what it's it's its' 'its worth, I'm rather impressed with your start to the season.
You've set out your you're stall and should be proud you, u, ewe sit at the top of a division to which we aspire to belong in the next couple of years.
In all seriousness, I can't believe there's theirs they'res the likelihood we'll play each other in the near future.
Personally, I think either a sustained or late run at promotion might serve you well. It's a long road and, even though it sticks in the craw, we advise from experience.
Regards
Are you an English teacher?

They are all being very dismissive of it - which is very worrying. If we were where they are we would be shouting from the rooftops - personally I am very worried they will actually do it this season 😭😔

Not a chance.

Just enjoying being at the top While it lasts.

Good luck to them. I’m more concerned about us TBH.

Indeed. They are flying and we are really struggling.

I'm not sure why people make OP's like this or contribute to them in mocking terms. Same with mocking Fleetwood when our situation is not much better.

Nobber here who isn’t particularly interested in you lot as we’re in different leagues. Loved the banter last season though.
To put the record straight, although we’ve had a great start, top of the league doesn’t mean much at this stage of the season, there’s a long way to go, but It is great to have 13 points in the bag already.

Just to say that Nobber’s have had so much grief over the last 60 years that most aren’t getting carried away. But it was great singing we are Preston North End and we’re top of the league on Saturday. 😉
Measured post 👍🏿

A elephant on top of a cherry three. You have no idea how it got there but you know for sure it will come down soon

Peaking at the start of a very long season as always.

They will finish up 8th or 9th in reality. They are much better run and have bigger ambition than us right now though all the same.

Every year someone will put up that they overspend and this and that, but the owners finance the club season after season 🤷‍♂️

The Nobbers I have spoken to don’t expect it to last but are enjoying it whilst it does.
It a way tougher league this season with some massive teams . To be top of the league is brilliant do we expect to stay there not really .
Do I think we can make top 6 defiantly.
This is what we want as football fans.
You lot are having a rough time personally I think a Critchley should never have returned.
The Trust has gone especially with players he left behind from the 1st
Now is the time to get him sacked & bring a manager with new ideas.
You will be back in a couple of years it not the same without a game against Blackpool
Keep the faith & get a new manager you all can get behind .

Another home game on Tuesday .. be interesting to see whether the Nobbers get off their sofas and go and support their table topping team!!

We had more home fans on Saturday than your ground's capacity. Anyway, I'd have though you'd be more concerned about scoring a goal and winning a point than what our home attendance will be. I think your priorities are all wrong.

The total attendance was 17,452, Argyle took 2,737, so that makes 14,715 home fans so that statement ain't true.

In a long and desolate period of having done nothing of note, I'm happy to let the Nobbers enjoy this moment, safely knowing it'll have changed by Christmas and as certain as autumn leaves fall from the trees, so they'll sink back down to mid-table obscurity.

I would suggest you read the posts carefully....

There is nothing wrong with 14,715 home fans, even if a lot of them are freebies.

Your fellow Nobber, Norfolk White said you had more home fans on Saturday than our ground holds which is incorrect. So in this instance it is an argument that I can win.

The official max. capacity for Bloomfield Rd is 17,338.

Is that simple enough for you

Let's face it, if we were top of the championship and riding a wave we'd be selling out our stadium or close to it.

Could easily be getting 13k+ home fans at a low price even nowadays and we're years behind in many other aspects.

It's 16,616, but the points the same.

Considering they have won five on the bounce and top of the league, the vocal support at Dumpdale is dire.

Charlie Adam alluding to the fact that the Brummies are making all the noise! 😆

I’m only going off what has been posted on here:

Which totals 11,257 home capacity when you lot aren't using the East Stand for home fans.

The East Stand in its current state - when exclusively used by away fans, so filled to its maximum with no gaps for segregation - holds 3,474.

So your actual total maximum capacity - home and away fans combined - is 11,257 + 3,474 = 14,731.

Whereas we had 14,805 home fans in Deepdale on Saturday.
